I love the Stock. It is exactly what I wanted. But having never bought one before they should’ve been a warning that the spring mechanism was in the stock. When I pull the cap off, it’s sent a projector out and almost took out my TV. Please put a warning about that for those of us that have never used one before.

Some of the items were showing in stock on the website but weren't actually available, so that was kind of a bummer. I did get a follow-up email saying that they were holding what was available for me pending payment. Once I completed the transaction I received my order lightning fast! Probably would have given 5 stars if they had emailed me that items were out of stock and they'd mail everything once they were back in stock (or at least given me that option). I paid a flat shipping rate but really only got 1/4 of what I wanted. Now if I want to order the rest I'll have to pay shipping again.

I give dirty birds 4 stars due to the fact that one of the items ordered on-line was not physically available at the Bakersfield store. I was notified by email after my credit card was charged that my item was not available and an alternate could be substituted....Did I get an equal in value and performance?? Did I end up paying more for an item of lesser value?? I don't know due to Dirty Birds did not provide this information in the notification email and that even a credit in price difference may have been due. I also purchased another item and the box was in poor shape...it looked like it was left in the pocket of a sweaty person shooting in hot weather at the range....Did I receive an ammo box that had sweaty nut rub / ball sack all over it??? I don't know due to I was in a hurry to pick up my online order at the Bakersfield location after working in the sun in 103F temperature for a 14 hour work day, I just wanted to get home, rinse off and suck down a couple of cold beers.

Some things great, some things meh. .out of 3 uppers the 1st one bought pre pandemic was awesome. Ballistic advantage barrel, permatexed gas block, runs like a sewing machine... I ordered 2 during the pandemic and both had issues. One had terrible feedramp alignment, which they accepted back for a full refund and free shipping. The 2nd had good alignment but the gas block fit was super loose and the upper wouldn't run consistently. I pulled the block, replaced it with an aero & permatex and now it works flawless . Long story short I wish they still used ballistic advantage barrels in their uppers...as for the handguards, they're amazing for the money. SUPER durable finish and super easy to remove but plenty sturdy. Highly recommend. Same for their cerakoted buffer tubes. DB's cerakote game is LEGIT!. LPK was on point, buffer system looks a bit cheap but charges smooth. 2 stage trigger is ok. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for DBI.

Never bought anything from this company before. Suspicious of how they got my email and are asking me to review their products. - update, the company informed me that I received the review request from a purchase of a former sister company. Thanks for resolving this.
