I am thinking about switching from Fios to another provider - I've never had satellite before so I thought that I'd give it a shot...the salesperson was very knowledgeable & genuinely concerned about my situation...It appears that I would be getting more service for less money with Direct TV...I'm sure that the installation process would be pleasurable as well...

Our install Tech "Al" did a great job. Super clean install of the dish. He took the time to install the drop between the exterior wall and the interior wall... no exposed cabling visible. He took the time to ensure we had all our questions answered even though we were his last appointment of the day (12 hour day for him). I offered him a tip, but he wouldn't accept it... said it was a pleasure. All hardware professionally installed, and cleaned up his work areas; you'd never know he was there. Great picture quality beats our former U-verse quality by a stretch. I used chat the next day and had my question answered quickly. So far (one day in) very impressed with Directv; and saving about $60 per month to boot.
