It was time for us to renew our service at $196.00 a month. Every month it kept going up $10.00 a month without a contract. We took the $89.00 special with internet, home phone and Direct T.V. They told use it would be the same package as we had. NOT SO! We have about 10 less major channels, no GSN, One America News, Chiller, Cloo, Fox Business,ME-TV, and several others. When the wind blows or rain we have interruptions because of the dish. Not worth the change and ATT U-Verse not worth $196.00 a month.

I was going with driectv for internet and tv for my home. After over two hours on the phone my bill which was going to be 60 $ ended up around 80 $ which was not what I had agreed. I spoke to a man who set up internet but je didn't tell me he was setting up a phone as well. I told him I didn't need or want a phone. Then he put me on a phone with someone I couldn't understand. This man told me I had a phone and my bill was going up after 3 months to +9.99 and so I deleted the order and I almowt deleted my TV because I was very upset at this point. I'm going to allow the TV but if my price should moce I will dispute it. Thank you

I ordered Direct tv bundle an hour ago. Agent said there were no rebates. I sign on to register my acct and first thing I see is ATT saying $100.00 rebate when you order a bundle package. I was in chat and Mary Ann says promos change all the time!! It's been an hour....don't tell me the promo changed. This is the 3rd time ATT has screwed me out of the rebate. This is false advertising on ATT part. I am cancelling "my bundle" !!

Upon installing our dish...Direct TV said they would return to secure it because at first winds of season it would move and not work. Needless to say...no one ever returned. During the first wind of the season our system stopped working. Call and scheduled an service appointment. They told me that I would be called 30 minutes prior to the technician arriving. I called back two other times prior to make sure they had the correct number and that they knew they needed to bring something to secure the dish. No one ever called me. Even after calling them three times to confirm the correct number...they called my husband and left a message on his cell (he was out of town). My husband informed me and I proceeded to call Direct TV. They apologized and said that it was still early enough in the day...that someone would come again and that they would call me 30 minutes before. I never heard from them so after waiting three hours I called only to be told that they would not be returning this day and that they couldn't get me in for three days! I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me that they don't guarantee that they will call before coming out. I told the supervisor that his service reps don't know that...they all said that I would be called. It wasn't that they didn't call. They even called the wrong number and it was after the service tech had already been at my home. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Having great customer service means more than people sitting on the other end of the line assuring you that they are sorry and apologizing. It means taking responsibility for your mistakes, rectifying and making the customer truly happy with their experience. This experience tells me that Direct TV values their time but not mine.

5 months ago i moved my parents from Washington state. We purchased a home in Divide Co. for them set up all their utilities including Direct TV. My father suffered from the change in altitude and with his heart condition he was forced to return to Washington. My mom making the arrangements was told that it would cost her over $500 to get out of their contract, but if they took the equipment they could continue their contract in Washington. My 78 year old mother called the local cable company and was told they did not have Direct TV so she set up service with the local cable company. She didn't understand that Direct TV is available anywhere just not with that cable company. Well my father continue to go downhill ending up in a nusring home where he recently passed. My mom spending most of her time with him. I flew out to settle his and their affairs. I found the Direct TV equipment while helping my mom finish he unpacking. I took it back with me to return it (you have to have a return kit) Today I called them explained all of this to them. They are not only charging her $360 to get out of the contract but because she didn't give them a date when to end her service two and a half months ago, they are billing her another $170. Wonderful company...... Not

I was completely dissatisfied with the service I was given! If I could give no stars I would.... Called about a month before we needed service, gave address, ss#, and was quoted a price for tv and Internet. Called back a few weeks later was given the same price. Gave the go ahead to set up service, including paying a processing fee and signed up for auto draft each month. Was transferred so I could set up install date of Internet and they had no recollection of any order. Called direct tv back and they started quoting prices, different from what was originally given. Transferred to a supervisor and was told that the price I was given multiple times and verified, was incorrect and that my bill would be at least $25 higher each month for Internet. Very disorganized! My credit card was charged immediately but I have to wait at least 3 business days for a refund! Will find another provider that is honest! I wasted an hour and a half of my time and gained frustration!!

James Edwards in the direct sales center speaks like an auctioneer and you can't understand what you're buying because he speed talks through it all.

Whole total process is confusing I was never told about that the discount prices I got it would last only a year. Was not told that the contract was for two years I wanted Internet because I watch Netflix and I did not get Internet which I thought I was getting with the total price I told the sales person that I could only afford around $50 I could actually get that if I got the minimum price which is $30 from DirecTV and the Internet from Centry link but now the charges $120 which is not acceptable
