Unacceptable cx service. No one knows what their doing.

I very much dislike DirecTV, can not wait to get away from them. Their ability to deliver a TV signal to anything other than a TV set is absolutely MISERABLE. I have spent a lifetime using Chat and on the phone with DirecTV customer service people. And, I rarely can get a signal to my computers, laptops, or iPads. While I can very easily stream Netflix, Bloomberg, CNBC, anything thru Apple TV, Hulu, anything Roku ... trying to get anything from DirecTV to work is an impossible task. Yet, they constantly bombard me with emails touting their remote viewing service. It is garbage. It never works. Ever. And its a waste of time and effort trying to get it to work. This service is among the worst I have ever had.

The service is decent at best but the product itself is horrible. It's impossible to use and most of the channels are filler like advertisement channels

I am one year into my 2 year ball & chain contract with this miserable company. Cheap equipment that had to be replaced with in the first few weeks of install. Now their equipment fails after 1 year & they refuse to replace it stating I must pay for it & "if you don't like it sorry it is in the contract". Within the first 6 months I had at least 6 services calls due to horrible reception. So finally the last technical that was out states the equipment is functioning but I will never have good reception because "this is as good as it will get & don't bother complaining to DirectTV over the phone because they will just lie to you over & over again stating that you shouldn't have any problems". So now every show or movie I watch freezes up. Anything I record can not be watch because during the recording it froze & it will skip over 10 to 20 minutes of the show. I have spent well over 10 hours over the phone dealing with these mental midgets not only on service calls but they did a bait & switch on the charges at the beginning jacking my bill through the roof! They are not worth the hassle, save yourself time & frustration. Cable may go out once a month but at least it does not go out everyday, every show like with DirectTV. Oh yeah after one year they attempt to charge you for NFL Sunday Ticket at $44.99 extra per month for 6 months! It is not worth $2 month. Many games were blacked out. But who wants to pay extra for a games that freeze up. Even missed a bunch of the Super Bowl due to poor reception. But if you make the poor decision to go with this company like I did and must have Sunday Ticket, know that after them bouncing you around on the phone to different people and keeping you on hold forever trying to cancel the renewal of it, they magically find some discounts to sucker you into keeping it for a lot less. My final recommendation: you'd be better drilling holes in you head placing some antennas in there and you'll get better service.

Woke up at 7a.m. to get ready for Direct TV to come install our dish and tv boxes. Our appointment was for 8 a.m.-12p.m. we received a text saying the tech would be here between 8:50-9:20 a.m. Around 10:30 we got concerned because no tech showed and was an hour past his arrival time. We contacted customer service and they told us the tech didn't know how to get to our place and they would try and reach him and call us back within the hour,(ridiculous!!!!!any GPS would bring you directly to our house expecially since we're the only house on the street.. Idiots!!!!) We received no call back from customer service or the tech and decided to call back again an hour n half past the time of they're return call we never received. Again no help what's so ever. We cancelled the installation at 3 p.m. after wasting our Saturday and received no apology or any kind of remorse from Direct TV. This was a complete mental breakdown on all ends from Direct TV and we'll take our business elsewhere.

Talk with a sales person on a tv,internet,& phone package, was quoted 109.99 for two yrs. TV was $50.00 and phone and internet & 59.99.Then he switched me to Huges internet and he said the cheapest system he had was $79.95 and after three months it would go up to & 89.95 . Cancellation # 244139906 Yes I am going to call DISH !!!!!!
