Cheaper isn't better. We switched from AT&T U-Verse to DirectTV because it came out cheaper but every time it rains we lose our signal until the rain stops. Also they don't offer all the channels that U-verse offers.

The representative was fairly easy to speak with at first, but he hid as much information from me as possible unless I specifically asked. Even when I asked certain questions, he would dodge them and try to get me to simply trust his confidence. He even straight-up lied to me and blamed my memory to cover it up. Then, he kept trying to get me to commit to the 24 month contract without telling me what my final monthly payment would be. He claimed he needed another representative's approval to give me a price, but then when I told him I wasn't giving any payment information, he "punched in his code and overrode the system" to find out for me. Even after we agreed on a final monthly payment with everything included, he added another $7.99 to my monthly bill when he read the terms of my contract. Never came up in the conversation before, and he insisted the price he told me was after all fees and taxes. I'm not disappointed with the service I have purchased. In fact, it's better than the contract I had before. I am just disappointed with the morality and honesty of this salesperson. For me, I knew this would happen and I was as prepared for it, but he could have easily ran my bill up $40-50 per month after gaining my card information if I wasn't. I have no doubt that he has taken advantage of other customers with his smoke and mirrors approach.

Was interested in switching from Dish to Direct. They kept getting the address and counties confused, didn't know if they provided internet or not and quoted higher packages than they had sent us in the mail. To top it off, my intelligence was questioned, and I was told that my "logic was skewed"! How can this company get great customer service ratings when they insult prospective customers???? I'm amazed and disappointed.

The first person I spoke to lied about half the stuff she told me. I had to keep asking the same question over and over to get the truth. For instance: she said they would take care of everything and I wouldn't have to speak to my current provider to cancel my service, then I asked again and she said yes do not worry we take care of all that for you then after two minutes she said "well of course you have to call them and cancel of course" and with an attitude. And then she lied about the internet speed, I used to have Verizon "highspeed" for three years and I've had comcast for almost 5 years, Verizon it's not even close as fast ... It's not my fault they don't have FiOS in my area ... maybe you should fix that before attacking people! The call was so long it lasted almost an hour ( 56 minutes and 33 seconds to be exact) and half of that time I was on hold listening to that annoying music. Also, the guy who scheduled the phone and internet installation never told me to hang up so I kept waiting and waiting on the phone until I asked if it was okay to hang up (because the previous lady had told me to wait for them). I'm already regretting signing up. I remembered why I switched to COMCAST in the first place. The directTV offer is supposed to be $24.99 but my email said it will be $49.99 so you guys should watch out. NOBODY LIKES FAKE ADVERTISEMENT! If I don't get the deal I WILL CALL BACK AND COMPLAIN!1 p.s: I've gotten like 7 emails (yes seven!) and 3 voice mails in the last 24 hours from you guys with the same message ... NOBODY LIKES SPAM! CAN'T YOU SUM UP WHATEVER IT is YOU HAVE TO SAY IN ONE EMAIL? NOBODY HAS TIME FOR ALL THAT.

Was told I could have internet service with Verizon. Then was told dtv does not contract with them anymore, call AT&T. Well, AT&T, does not service my area, call Verizon. Told AT&T dtv does not contract with them anymore. Was told to contact cable company. Called dtv an said I would like to just cancel my order, I am tired of trying to find internet service. Went back to Verizon.
