I was displeased with the phone part of the process, I have received 4 or 5 phone calls from the service trying to set up an appointment when the appointment was already set and one of them came after the service was on and working. The tech that came out to do the install was very professional and did a super job!

I called Direct Star TV on 2/22 to order service. At that time, I was charged $73 and another $50 for an extra DVR. The installer came out on 2/26 and determined that he could not install because of the trees blocking the house. Well, they refunded the $73 on 3/5 but not the $50 extra equipment charge. I have contacted DirectStarTV on several occasions...each time they tell me to contact Direct TV...I contacted Direct TV and each time they tell me to contact Direct Star TV...it's an endless game to them when all I want is the $50 extra equipment charge refunded. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will file with my state's attorney general also.

Very helpful and answered all questions I had with great detail. Tried very hard to get the best tv package for me. It was like talking to a friend on the phone. Not the typical salesman. Would recommend to everyone! Beyond satisfied.

I was asleep when the rep called, because I work nights, but he gave me all the time I needed to find the information I needed to complete my order. He was very courteous and helpful, didn't push when I didn't want something and all in all I am looking forward to our Directv getting installed.

This week I set up deal with AT&T and tv with DirectTV. AT&T took 45 minutes to order a basic service. Direct Tv took 20 minutes. Good job.
