Absolute great experience with Direct Hearing!
I purchased and completed a 45 day trial with Phonak Lumity 70 Life hearing aids from another company (I'll call them "Company B") that required driving to their location to adjust the hearing aids. They also required a $500 restocking fee and charged a few thousand dollars more then Direct Hearing for the same hearing aids. The commute for adjustments with "Company B" was not convenient. Nor was the adjusting process. Every other week I was driving to one of the "Company B's" satellite offices for adjustments. I returned the hearing aids to that provider after the 45 day trial and purchased the Phonak Lumity 90 Life hearing aids from Direct Hearing. Direct Hearing offered significantly cheaper pricing for the same hearing aids and they are available virtually for adjustments. In fact, I was able to purchase the Phonak Lumity 90 Life hearing aids, which has more features than the Phonak Lumity 70 Life, and was significantly less costly than the Phonak Lumity 70 Life "Company B" sold me. It was a few thousand dollars cheaper. Direct Hearing also offered a 60 day trial. No restocking fee. When I first came across Direct Hearing, I was hesitant/skeptical because Direct Hearing was offering the same brand of hearing aid as "Company B", as well as the next level up model that has additonal functionality than the hearing aids I previously trialed with "Company B", and was offering them at a significantly less cost. Again Direct Hearing also provided a 60 day trial with no restocking fee. Something I found no competitor of Direct Hearing offering. Direct Hearing was the least costly and has the best offers. Not only was the cost and offer significantly better than competitors, so was the overall experience! From purchasing the hearing aids from Direct Hearing, I was happy with the price being the lowest of all companies I researched, but even more blown away by the ease of the adjusting and programming process of the hearing aids via remote connection through the Phonak app. This is done with one of their three adjusters. When I purchased the hearing aids, I feared this remote adjusting process might turn out to be cumbersome and quite stressful. However, it was remarkably easy, efficient, and I wouldn't do it any other way. The time and gas money I had to spend to commute to "Company B's" office for adjustments is no longer a cost for me and the time consumed for adjusting was much less. I also, only needed one adjustment for the same treatment that took 6 adjustments with "Company B". For anyone who has concerns with this remote connection processes for adjusting and fine tuning the hearing aids, there's no need to have concerns. I worked with Will. He is very knowledgeable regarding the functionalities of the hearing aids, adjusting them as needed and answering any queries I had. He clearing explains all aspects. Simply put, he is a pleasure to work with. Please note, I don't usually write reviews. However, with this level of experience I've had with Will and Direct Hearing, they are too exceptional not to leave a review. Comparing them to other hearing aid provider companies that I've purchased hearing aids from in the past, Direct Hearing is leagues ahead of them as far as customer service, product pricing/offering, ease of use, friendliness and overall experience. I couldn't be happier! Thanks!!
