Shipping takes forever, my original order arrived after 4 weeks. And then it had defective Liquin Light Gel. Liquin Light Gel was so chunky I could not take it out of bottle.I thought it will become liquid after keeping it indoor and waited for quite some time but it did not change texture. I called customer service in Jan 2021 they said they will send replacement and I should throw away the defective material. I threw out the bottle as I was promised new bottle to arrive within 2 weeks and when it did not arrive even after 4 weeks I called them and they said now you will get it in April 2021 or later. First no one called to inform me that it will be delayed delivery and second I cant paint until April 2021. And I am not sure if I should wait for it or not. But it surely is depressing to wait to oil paint for so long.

Shipping is horrible!!! I ordered on Feb 22. picked up on Feb 23. Went from New Berlin, Wisconsin to Southhaven, Mississippi then to Indianapolis, Indiana, back to Southhaven, Mississippi. don't know where it is now. FedEX sent message saying it was scheduled for delivery on Feb 26, then new message for scheduled delivery on Feb 27. now it says no date for scheduled delivery. When I called Dick Blick they said to give it 10 business days then call them (Dick Blick) back if I didn't get it. I live in Arkansas so from Southhaven MS it should have come here. It's five paint brushes. could have been sent us mail and gotten here in 2 to 3 days. When I talked to Dick Blick customer service they said I could pay an extra 3.00 and get quicker service. I ordered enough brushes so I could get free shipping! NOT HAPPY!!

HORRIBLE return policy. I ordered 22 sets of tempera paints for my children at school and then it turned out a parent had already bought them. I was thrilled to not have to pay the $130 some dollars out of pocket, as covid has made teaching art very expensive. I went to return the two boxes of paint today and they charged me almost $50 for shipping. This means I am basically paying for the paint I just sent back to them. Blicks is not worth it, this return policy is inhumane.

Had terrible experience with this company. Very bad comunication servivice and they made me lose lots of time to send me the shipping confirmation. At the end l cancelled my purchase and made it with Jacksons, they have excellent service and prices!

Second time this has happened with me with a large order but the second time was the last. ALSO. Very disappointed with the customer service I received both occasions in regards to my questions/concerns about my order. Wow. Is there not QA? With both orders, Items were shipped or not shipped without informing me before I could cancel shipping (ie middle of night). Some items were "backordered indefinitely". Frustrating because I was putting in large orders where I had to tweak projects around half ordered shipments. Some items were coming in two days later but instead of waiting they shipped the order. Had I been offered the option I would have cancelled said order or waited the two days so all or most of my items would have arrived. This last time I would have canceled the order but 1/3 of it had shipped already. Last time I will order from them :(

Online order technology is at least 15 years out of date. I've placed orders in multiple years, but am yet to be able to order online due to extremely outdated and ignorant Dick Blick website technology. Thanks for the reply, but I am not the problem. I have a background in IT development. I have also done a lot of my shopping online for decades. I found another site with the exact same items at lower overall cost and better, functional technology that I am now using.

I ordered approximately $50.00 worth of textile paint. My order arrived in a box that contained the paint bottles loosely wrapped in bubble wrap. Two of the paint jars had leaked during shipment. I notified Blick and received a reply within a week. They assured me they would replace the two bottles that leaked. The replacement bottles were shipped and received. Once again the bottles had leaked during shipment. Clearly there is a problem with their packaging and/or shipping. In both cases I took pictures of the paint smeared bottles and the interior of the box. It has been at least two weeks and I have not be contacted regarding the second damaged shipment. I will no longer be purchasing art supplies from Blick.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I've ordered from them a few times and have had no problems. Last month, I placed an order. Upon ordering, I received a notification that they were to send an approval in 2-3 days time for the order before actually processing and shipping it out. Keep note "2-3 days time". After 3 days, I still had not received any approval emails. I had to send them an email. They replied a week later saying they could not find my order. They then sent another email saying that I had to pay additional shipping as the items in the order were heavy. Fine. I'll pay the shipping, just send me the items. They replied that they will be sending it soon and will send an email with the tracking. A week later and still nothing. I sent another email asking where my tacking number was, they said 2 of my items were not in stock. Well, if you had replied to me in time, maybe my items would have still been in stock. Regardless, I was getting impatient and replied back that I wanted to change my item to a different item and I will pay whatever additional shipping fee. They said I needed to reply in 5 days, but no need, I replied within that same hour. I have sent 3 emails to them asking them what the heck is going on with my order seeing how ANOTHER WEEK HAS GONE BY AND STILL NOTHING. Their customer service is just terrible.
