Worst god damn carrier EVER! AVOID like hell because they'll sabotage your business maliciously, while insulting you arrogantly as if they're doing you the biggest favor in the world, as if the entire service was free out of the goodness of their heart, not having paid for it considerably!

Truly superb experience. Express does mean express. Two days from US to the UK, kept informed and item when got to the UK was delivered a day early. Cannot ask for more than that.

Always a horrible experience with DHL super late shipping every time, this time my item arrived opened and empty!!! I've trying to contact them all day and they just put me on hold for almost an hour. If you buy something that will be shipped by DHL reconsider!

DHL is one of the most popular delivery services in the workd, however, I've never received my parcel on time! Besides, the service is too expensive...

Will never buy anything shipped by this company! Over a month and package is still not delivereed. I contacted them on August 17 through email. Got and email saying I would be contacted in 24-72 hours. Nope! Today is Aug. 25 and I called them. They claim it is not their problem and they are not responsible. They said they got the package to Detroit (nearest large city to me) and that was what they were suppose to do. Lady on the phone was very rude, told me to go after the seller for new one or refund, refused to let me talk to her supervisior when I asked to, and then hung up on me. Unacceptable!!!!!!!!

The DHL dispatch center in San Francisco is THE WORST international shipping company in the US! Every encounter I've had with them is mediocre at best, and most often extremely poor. At times it has taken them over 10 days to deliver my package after it has passed customs and been in their possession, they regularly attempt deliveries to my office at 7 p.m. after we are closed, and just yesterday they falsely claimed to have attempted to deliver a package when I was in the office the entire day. When I called them at 5 p.m. to inquire about my package, my call was directed to their national office because they decided to close their customer service office an hour earlier than usual. I've gone so far as to write their CEO, in part because DHL's website actively encourages customer input on their homepage, but received nothing more than a basic emailresponse from a member of his staff. I just do not understand how a company that cannot successfully deliver on its single purpose has maintained to be profitable. If anyone can help me understand, I'd sincerely like to be enlightened.

Over 4 days of contacting customer service and still no package. It has been over four days and every day DHL's tracking information says I need to contact them and provide more address information. Every day, I contact them to update them with the same information and am assured it will be delivered the next day, but it never happens. At this point, it's taken longer for the package to be delivered to me from the nearby delivery station than it took for the package to make it's way from China, through customs, and to the delivery station. Don't use DHL ever.

Shipping charges should include customs handling charges, in my opinion. I bought some supplements worth £30 from the US including a shipping charge of £6.70. When they were stopped at UK customs, DHL did not handle import VAT collection and payment but outsourced it to an external agent Customs Clearance Limited. This agent wants to charge £8 for handling an import VAT payment of £5.26, more than the shipping fee or the tax due. This fee is unacceptable when I have already paid DHL a international shipping fee.
