Purchased a drill from local retailer. Tried to register the warranty. Almost impossible! Mty model details do not bring up an image for m to tap on I have no idea what the serial number is or where and you are asked to create an account with the inevitable password to do this .Twice after creating an account I was shown "website not reachable" I've given up I hopethe drill is better than the customer registration experience!!!

Wij kochten een klopboormachine van DeWalt die na amper één jaar al defect was: de bijtelhouder was kapot. Dat probleem werd toen zonder discussie hersteld. Helaas bleek dit geen toeval, want exact één jaar later ging de machine opnieuw kapot met hetzelfde defect. De machine had 5 jaar garantie, maar plots weigerde men de herstelling nog gratis uit te voeren, met als absurde reden dat dit niet binnen de 6 maanden na de eerste herstelling viel. Met andere woorden: een duidelijk structureel probleem, maar DeWalt weigert verantwoordelijkheid te nemen. Alsof dat nog niet erg genoeg is, kregen we te horen dat de herstellingskosten hoger zouden liggen dan de aankoop van een nieuwe, betere machine. Uiteraard hebben we dat niet laten uitvoeren. Wanneer we vervolgens onze kapotte machine terug gingen ophalen, moesten we ook nog eens 20 euro betalen enkel en alleen omdat ze de machine opnieuw in elkaar hadden gezet. Werkelijk hallucinant. Dit is ronduit schandalig: een duur merk dat uitpakt met lange garanties, maar zich bij problemen verschuilt achter kleine lettertjes en de klant uiteindelijk laat opdraaien voor alles. Slechte kwaliteit, slechte service en nul klantgerichtheid. Voor ons nooit meer DeWalt.

I bought a new Dewalt drill. That's something in the forward and reverse switch was bad. I sent that back to them on Friday And they sent me a brand new one that was on my porch on Wednesday, I just can't thank the company enough. Not every company out there will stand behind their product as Dewalt did. A+A+

Laser dw088k, vertikaal deed het niet meer. Op gestuurd voor reparatie. Maken kost 175 exl btw ( nieuw 145) Terug sturen 58 euro of achterlaten, geen kosten. Jd moet heg masr hebben van z'n leverancier. Bah

Extremely disappointed with DeWalt’s warranty handling. I received two drills as part of an official DeWalt promotion when purchasing a garden strimmer. I registered one of the drills correctly, but unfortunately ended up using the other one, which later developed a clear fault (reverse selector behaving incorrectly and a seized chuck). Despite providing full proof of purchase, promotion confirmation, and flagging the issue before the tool was collected for repair, DeWalt refused to offer any warranty support purely because that specific serial number was not registered — even though it came from the same promotion, same purchase date, and same bundle. The tool was already collected by their authorised repair centre before DeWalt responded, only for me to be told later that warranty would not be honoured and I should pay £59.99 + VAT for the repair instead. This wasn’t misuse or abuse of the warranty — just an administrative mistake — yet there was zero goodwill or flexibility shown. Very rigid interpretation of policy and poor customer experience overall. For a premium brand, I expected far better support.
