Maggie was a joy to work with! Super helpful and did everything she could to make sure things went smoothly. Very positive experience working with Maggie. Only slightly negative note is I feel the response time of 2-4 days minimum and her being out of office almost every time I reached out was a little frustrating, feel like it was hit or miss getting a prompt response back if I or guests had a question. BUT, I understand Maggie works in the travel industry and she appears to soak up every opportunity to travel, I don’t blame her, haha. If you’re patient, I would 100% recommend working with Maggie! I would suggest she take OFF Royalton Antigua from her list of recommendations for destination weddings. I don’t have many positive things to say about our experience there. Place is a HOT mess. Our wedding photographer the resort provided was lack luster and super controlling and wasn’t open to any ideas I suggested for photos. Ceremony venue was NOT private despite the description and photos, it was in the common pool area and we had people watching and it didn’t feel intimate at ALL. Photos here. Food was absolutely awful, customer service was awful, wait times for drinks at pool bar was unbearable, wait times for restaurants despite having reservations was awful, ended up eating at sports bar almost every night. Scenery is stunning though. Our butlers were the most positive thing, they were great and tried their best to make our stay better. Overall a good experience but I would 100% change things if I could go back in time.

Brittany with Destination Weddings was truly exceptional from start to finish in helping us plan our wedding. Her recommendations, organizational skills, and guidance throughout the entire process were invaluable. She was incredibly kind and patient, even when dealing with some of our more difficult guests, and always responded quickly to my questions and needs. Brittany also served as an excellent liaison between me and the wedding planner at Secrets Akumal, ensuring everything ran smoothly. I cannot recommend or thank Brittany enough for her expertise, professionalism, and the care she put into making our wedding experience unforgettable!

First let me say that without Amy we would not have made it to our big day lol. She took so much on and left very little for us to stress about and went way above anything we could have asked for. She was very thorough and ensured we were completely happy and laid out all the details and options up front. We took a long time to make choices but never did she come off pushy and allowed us to make the decisions and she provides the best recommendations. Overall the company really listens and has the interest of the couple at heart. Our special day was way above our expectations and was captured beautifully. 11/10

My husband and I planned our destination wedding near Cancun Mexico for November 2024. Being in the states, it was nerve wrecking to plan something remotely, but our specialist from Destination Weddings, Amy Cate was amazing! There’s always a hesitancy to free services but our expectations were more than met. She was such a fantastic resource to have during our planning process. She gave us different resorts to look into and ultimately we landed on Secrets Maroma. It’s a beautiful resort and working with Amy and the wedding coordinators was very easy. Amy helped our guests book rooms at a reasonable rate and much cheaper than booking externally. She also helped scheduling transportation. Amy stays on top of the deadlines and is very responsive to emails. She is personable, kind and much needed during wedding planning as it can be stressful. We appreciate all her help and guidance and I would highly recommend her and Destination Weddings!

Everything has been easy and organized! Booking and making payments for the room was super simple. Nice selection of excursions! On top of the travel documents too!

Melissa is amazing! She is very knowledgeable and answered any and all questions. Her feedback was always honest. If she doesn’t prefer something she will let you know. Anytime I needed her she was available. She will not let choose something that she wouldn’t.
