Edit - after posting negative reviews my complaint was escalated and I exchanged for black. The exchange was prompt and no fuss once escalated. Updating from 1 star to 3 star - the product is good, the powdercoat is good quality, the desk assembled easily and it rolls well on the caster wheels whilst still feeling fairly stable. Leaving at 3-star since Desky aren't updating their website wheat colour so I still wouldn't recommend anyone order the wheat unless you want pasty-yellow colour, and because the original headache was such a drag and I think their policy should be more reasonable. Do not buy the wheat coloured desk. It is not a neutral beige as claimed and pictured but rather a sickly yellow. Despite this false advertising and no way to view the product in person before ordering (nor any photos anywhere of this colour, just the website listing to go by), even in its packaging untouched they still charge a 15% restock fee and delivery costs. ie. No exchange available. Very disappointing when the website colour is so misleading. Not good enough when its an $800 item. Won't be buying desky again nor recommending to anyone.

Brought a desk 18 months ago. The adjustable desk motor is still very smooth however, the desk itself now has marks and is peeling even with minimal usage. I would look for an alternative adjustable desk unless they improve the quality of their wood.

Update: After I posted this review, Desky reached out and processed a full refund. While the experience was frustrating, I do appreciate that they ultimately took responsibility and resolved the issue. I still believe in supporting smaller businesses, and it’s good to see that they responded and made things right in the end. ------- I had a quite bad experience with this company. Bought a 500CAD chair (Desky Pinnacle Executive chair) that ended up breaking after 3 weeks of use. No use out of the ordinary. Three weeks after requesting a refund within the timeframe allowed in their policy, and it still hasn’t been processed because I no longer had the original box. Desky told me they would ship a replacement box so I could return the chair, which I appreciated, at that point, I just wanted a solution. Two weeks later, the box never arrived. I followed up and received no response. As of today, I have a $500 chair that I was only able to use for two weeks, now sitting unused in my basement. I genuinely try to support smaller businesses, but experiences like this are why people end up buying from large retailers like Costco. One of the worst purchasing experience I've ever had. I would definitely avoid.

Overall I'm satisfied with what I got but there were issues. I ordered a desk pad (Desky Felt Desk Pad - Medium 80x40cm) with the desk order. However, after 1 month of trial and errors I threw it away. Unfortunately, this desk pad doesn't work well with Desky laminate desks! First of all, it it extremely easy to more around until it has some serious weight on it to prevent it from moving. Secondly, after almost a month it's still not flat! I tried everything but it's still curved. The company refused to refund me this pad (around 25$). Ridiculous, considering I spent more than 1000 with them. They said I would need to return it and this is impossible since I didn't keep the original box. I assume all those reviews about extremely bad Desky support are true so be aware.

Desks are amazingly well constructed, but d delivery ruins the experience. Have a 50% hit rate on poor deliver on multiple order because desks are good. They'll provide delivery date and arrive day before. You may receive part of your desk and then a week later still be trying to chase when they'll bother to send the last piece. You'll be told you'll get it by end of week and that won't happen. If delivery so poor why do I pay through the nose for it?
