I bought 2 rx glasses and designer frames 2 years ago without insurance online, and had a fantastic experience. It cost me almost the same price for 2 frames and rx glasses at Designer Frames without insurance, as it did for one pair at my eye doctor's with insurance. I made the mistake of not purchasing frames and rx glasses last year when I was quoted a decent price by my optometrist's office. When they quoted me a higher price this year and tacked on a fee for having a higher prescription I was done with that eyeglasses place, especially when I found out that my prescription is somewhere in the middle. I came back, picked up my prescription and left. I had trouble ordering online due to living in the middle of nowhere with lousy internet. I contacted Designer Frames, and Billy and Amanda (Billy & Mandy) both got back to me and helped me order 2 pairs for myself and 1 pair for my son. A week later I ordered 4 more pairs for myself as an early Christmas present, and ordered online from my son's place. They all arrived in a timely manner, and we were overjoyed. My son loves them and was elated, saying that he sees better than with his other pair. Everyone in our intermediate family (7 older children + 2 adults) wears glasses even for screen time and sunglasses, and we'll only shop here from now on. Using VSP at the optometrists' offices is twice the price! These are quality designer frames, and the techs are knowledgeable professionals who have been crafting and fitting lenses for a long time. I've saved thousands of dollars not using insurance and buying straight from them. There's even an option for paying in payments by Afterpay. I would only buy one brand of frame beforehand, but thanks to Designer Frames and their exceptional quality and prices I've found other frames I adore as well. Easy ordering process! Arrived sooner than expected

Legit. Ordered coach frames with RX lens. They arrived packaged well and in perfect condition, no issues. Website is also the best I’ve seen for eyeglass shopping, the search filters function well, the photos aren’t blurry, you can add multiple frames to the cart using the same RX without having to reenter it each time. I also heated the frames with hot water and was able to adjust the temples myself without any problems. Glad I found this place. My first instinct was to use the cheap-cheap site, the really popular one, but they seem to only carry the most common frame sizes and we needed a rare-ish frame size, which Designer Frames actually stock. They’ll also replace lens using existing frames which is awesome, my local optical dept won’t do that, always a money grab. I ended up spending only $4 more on these designer eyeglasses than if I’d went into the local optical dept and bought the cheapest generic ones. Anyways, use Designer Frames for your RX eyeglasses, you will be pleased.
