Best Decision I've made my business!

Need better reporting and explanation on what big payment is for which month. Seems to just take money out. Need a report saying this is what your previous months tax liability/payment is/was. And a hard amount.

Since RASI made the switch to DAVO, we have encountered some major issues! Our sales tax was not paid for our Denver store for Oct/Nov 2021and we incurred penalties and interest. The same happened with our Original location on Belmont and we have an outstanding balance of $2,700 due to penalties and interest. What's particularly aggravating is the fact that you withdraw funds from our bank account daily yet cannot pay the sales tax on time. I hope you benefit from sitting on our money as long as you do. Our liquor license recently expired and we are unable to secure our IL liquor license due to the outstanding balance. RASI tells me it may take up to 10 weeks to resolve which is completely unacceptable!! We cannot operate without a valid liquor license! I am completely dissatisfied with DAVO at this point.

Customer Service is like insurance, you don't really care about it until you have to use it. I had an opportunity to exercise our Davo app today when our state sales tax had stopped being funded. For 18 months we had flawless collection and payment of our sales tax until our state moved to two-factor authentication. As we are a small game store starting out, duties and responsibilities change as required and the person who had originally set us up with Davo had moved on and we had not updated our records. The notifications from the state went to a defunct e-mail and I found out when I got the notice from the state. Tracing things backwards I contacted Davo and our representative, Avery, guided me through the process to clear our account and in less than 15 minutes we were back on line. I was moved to write this review because of how effortless the whole process was. Avery took our information, reset our account, ensured that it was functioning and sent me an invite to log in while we update our contact information. Also, I shared with him how we came to be customers. When we got our Clover POS it came with the opportunity to signup for Davos. Not being retail wizards, we looked at each other and asked, "Anyone here think they can do the sales tax reporting for what they charge?" and we quickly signed up. It has allowed us to grow our business under combat conditions (Covid, store closures, etc.) knowing that that the critical issue of accurate and timely reporting and funding of the sales tax to the state is something we didn't have to worry about. The company I work for during the day sells internationally and we use avalara to keep track of taxes at that level and it seems that expertise is applied at the lowest level as well. Just a great application!

Solved issues with tax reporting

Wish I knew about it sooner. It helps not only to keep me in check with my tax. Which I've accidentally been behind on before. But also it saves me time. Also, if you are in a state that gives you a discount for early payment this service if essentially free cause I get more back from the discount.
