we were apprehensive at first to use a third-party to handle our sales tax remittances and reporting. However, I am happy to say that this was one of the best decisions we have made. No more 20th of the month surprises or large deductions at once from the bank account. Every day the money comes out of my account, and I don’t have to worry at all that my taxes are handled. 100% recommend.

Generally very good. However, recently we had a glitch in the payments, because one of our accounts went NSF. We have multiple accounts, so did not know this happened. I found out a month later that DAVO was not collecting. When called to find out what was going on, they told me that they had sent an e-mail, notifying me that they had stopped collecting, a month earlier. My constructive feedback is...when something like this happens, CALL ME! Leave a message. We get so many DAVO emails, all going to the 'other' box. That's my one issue. Otherwise, a good product. Thank you!

Colorado has allowed state sales tax exemptions for restaurants for July-September 2021 and 2022. When my restaurant found out about this last year it was already too late for July, but when I asked Davo said they would present the exemptions. They did for August 2021. Fast forward to June 2022 and I asked them to start doing it again in July, thinking I would alert them in advance this year. I recently discovered they did not. Then, when I went back to get the returns where they had done it in 2021 (to show them that they had actually done it), I found out they also did not do it in September 2021. Now I have had to file amended returns myself for 4 more months (9/21 and 7-9/22) and am left waiting for thousands in refunds overpaid by the Davo app, which I am told by the Colorado Taxpayers' Advocate could take 18-24 months to receive. If you constantly have to file amended returns and wait years to recover money that Davo loaned to the Dept. of Revenue because of an exemption you alerted them about in advance, it's really hard for me to see any value in the service; might as well save time and money and do it yourself.

I'm not a guy that has time to write reviews... but I do read them. If you read any...read this! I've been in business for 15 years...I've been late on my taxes for 13 of them. I've been on the verge of doors being locked by the DOR.. Then I met TOAST POS and the DAVO Integration. I've never been late since this started...MA DOR was actually impressed by the process and its a lot eaiser with daily withdrawls then finding some huge $$ on the 20th of the month. Do yourself a favor... spend the whatever it costs a month to have peace of mind...and feel to ask... I will never go back
