London Stratford Westfield store, The worst experience of my life. Please if you want to be happy on your wedding day stay away from here. They'll be so nice in the beginning, sell you a dress too big so that you'll spend money on alterations, but believe me you wont be happy with your dress after the alterations, and at that point they don't want to know you. Total disaster. This is an honest review of my experience and wish i'd read through some reviews before I entered into that store.

ANTIQUATED STORE OPERATIONS
Just got off the phone with a store manager on David's Bridal. I decided to drop out of a wedding last minute because I will be flying internationally. I am sitting on a final sale bridesmaid dress that I do not need.
In 2019, customer service in other apparel companies have been elevated to accommodate the needs and satisfaction of the customer. I would assume that David's Bridal would be no different. If something is not satisfactory, a means to accommodate the customer should be of first priority. For example, giving a customer store credit. If the person no longer has need for the dress, at least permit them to have store credit online or in-store.
The operations in David's Bridal is antiquated and inefficient. The retail location and the Dot.Com store are not linked and are treated as separate entities. That is such an archaic approach to running a retail clothing brand.
NOT TO MENTION, David's Bridal (unless you get it altered) is not a customizable purchase. They act like they've sent the order for the garment to be specially made and sent to the dye house for a custom color. If it was a customized, altered design, then of course it should not be returned or exchanged. However, all their styles are sitting in a warehouse somewhere collecting dust, ready to be sold. It's not a big deal to enable in-store or online credit.
Onto my next point, David's Bridal is the mass market supplier of Bridal apparel, not some high end store. Most of their customers are likely to be on a budget. So when they are denied means for store credit, that David's Bridal knowing that they can take advantage of this consumer market and think they can get away from taking their money.
There is no fostering of customer relationships or honest store policies. It is antiquated, wasteful and does not follow sustainable, compliance standards. Do NOT hop at David's Bridal. Especially the location on W Pico Blvd in Los Angeles, CA.
Save your money for a store that has a more accommodating, relevant return policy and isn't still stuck in the 90s in the worst way.

I recently order a bridesmaid dress and…
I recently order a bridesmaid dress and was very upset with how it came in the mail to me. I paid a good amount for that dress and it took forever for it to come, but it also came in a thin bag packaging that could have been easily ripped. The dress was not very well protected :( thankfully it wasn’t damaged other than being extremely wrinkled.

I don,t recommend David's Bridal at all. I purchased a mother of the bride dress, When I got home I realized the style was not good for me I went back to the store less than 24 hours later and they would not let me exchange it for something else. Please understand when you purchase a dress they do not tell you it is a final sale. Very bad way to conduct business.

My experience with David’s bridal was… The Worst
My experience with David’s bridal was terrible, no one would help me and my family pick out bridesmaids dresses because we had no appt. it was poor service. The lady that greeted us when we first walked in was rude and not helpful at all! She acted like she had an issue with the fact that we had no appt. I mean who care you still see if someone needs help.

Horrible, horrible experience
I went there and bought my wedding dress. If it wasn’t for my family helping me put on the dresses and doing them up, I would’ve walked right out. I was recently there again June 16 to get my dressed altered. My sister in law and I asked if they could find these shoes in my size. One of the employees called the Edmonton store for us and let us know they will call and they would notify us, hoping it wouldn’t take too long. We sat there for a half an hour, not one employee came to approach us to let us know they spoke to someone. We walked to the front and asked if they have heard back, the one lady we were dealing looked confused. Then an employee named Amy came by and said oh yeah I did speak to them. I also had problems with her on the phone as well. Her customer service is crappy and she shouldn’t be working in that industry. She wanted to raise her voice to me on the phone, and I wasn’t going to take her crap. She is a terrible employee and I will never ever go to David’s bridal after I get my dress

I would give negative 10 stars if…
I would give negative 10 stars if possible! My sister went to David's bridal to find her wedding dress, she found one she love and was assured that even though it didn't fit right in the store that once she ordered it it would be perfect.... liars!! The dress doesn't fit correctly at all. They didn't take any measurements or even try to to get a dress that would fit her. So now she has the dress that doesn't fit, and they dont do returns (figures) we go to get bridesmaid dresses, they have us try on the dresses and tell us that if they can pull two inches off the back they have to get a size smaller, at the same time my sister has her dress on and is explaining what's wrong with it, I listen to the seamstress, she says it'll be $90 to them it up because it's way too long for my sister and to deal with the gaping bodice she says she'll have to take it in a bit and that she'll do that for free. They also talk about doing a panel to cover the back because the corset can't be done up correctly. Some how all this jumps from $90 to $290 almost the cost of the darn dress!!!!! My sister took her dress somewhere else and only paid 150 to get the alterations she needs done and the people ar David's bridal didn't even have the dress pinned up correctly, they had it a mess so at least my sister's dress will be correctly fixed. My advice DON'T GO TO DAVID'S BRIDAL!!!! They will talk you into buy a dress that doesn't fit and can't be returned, then they will do horrible alterations and ruin the dress they wont take back. Save yourself the frustration!!!
