Very Bad customer service. The Chat Rep Diane was not reading my chat, if she read the chat she would know what i am trying to say. Other bridesmaids have gotten the same color dress and have already received it. I have not gotten my dress and it will arrive late per the date given. I asked why mine has not arrived. Chat person said because i ordered online. Well so did everyone else. Then she said i have ordered a special color "Dusty Sage". Well if she read my full message i said we all ordered same color same way online. So why i am not getting mine on time. No answer. Clearly they do not care what the customer is asking.

Dishonest about returns.
Can’t return the dress because they opened earlier than announced and I wasn’t alerted or anything. My wife is devestated that the dress cannot be returned after being told the stores would open on June 1st. Our wedding day is cancelled and now we are forced to hold onto a dress that has never been worn and probably won’t fit when there is a wedding. David’s Bridal does not pride in their customers just want to take our money. I’ll never shop here nor recommend anyone to come. Shame on you guys

LYING AND DEFRAUDING CUSTOMERS DURING COVID
I was told i could not return my dress in store due to covid, nor was I permitted to return an in-store purchase by mail. I have in writing from DB that I had 14 days "from the dade state mandates are lifted" to return my dress. I then called the store twice and was provided the same information. On may 29, the first phase of reopening began in Northern va where the store is located. I called the store on may 31 and was told in "late april" the decision was made to reopen the store on may 1 for "purposes of returns". I showed customer service my writing from them saying I had 14 days from the date state mandates were lifted, not from the date the store secretly decided to accept returns. I was advised by this person "your store opened may 4." When I asked how that happened when state mandates changed may 29, and they specifically told me the 14 day return window begins to run when state mandates are lifted, they stopped responding to me.. Their entire strategy during covid is to defraud customers.

The store in Hurst texas provided me with voice mails to return my daughters prom dress for a refund, but due to the closure put in place by gov to stay home the store closed by the weekend and I was not able to return. As soon as restrictions were lifted for what I thought were the stores I called to schedule a no contact drop off / curbside return and was told I could no longer return for refund! Although, mind you, i have a voice mail from Morgan at corporate and Ashley from the hurst store stating that i could return it. I have tried to contact corporate again and guess what now to discuss returns you have to text some 38201 and wait for someone to respond via text. Just another way for them to avoid dealing with people's questions and concerns! I still have children to graduate and have proms and get married and you can bet that we will never use David's again for anything! I will also be sure to let my friends and family know as well!

What’s sad is that I had ordered a dress from there and had to cancel my wedding due to this unfortunate situation (which is already stressful enough) right after ordering the dress.
The dress wasn’t even shipped yet to the store, on my receipt it states you have 14 days to return/refund dress once receiving...
All of a sudden they told me their policy had to change so they can stay in business...
but they are more then happy to screw us brides over in the process...they had no sympathy what so ever...
(yet my receipt states the policy that I agreed to at the time of purchase)
Not only is this illegal but it’s just cruel

AWFUL
AWFUL, TERRIBLE, CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS AND LACK OF HELP? Well were to start, I went into the store in December to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress and they advised me that I would be a size 26 in the style that I was looking for. I went online and purchased the dress in that size in April 2020. I have not change in body size but maybe gained a few pounds, but when I received the dress it was about 2 to 3 times bigger on me and the quality of the chiffon was awful, did not look good and would not have purchased it if I would have known what the qualify of their chiffon really was. So I went to another bridal store and got measured again and they told me that I was a size 20 to 22 pending on the style so not sure how the ladies at David's think that they can measure people correctly or is it that they make their monies on getting people to purchase dress in bigger styles so that they can collect monies on alterations BAD on David's if that is how they run their business. Now to the bigger issue, due to COVID19, I understand that the stores closed but now that they are open, I am not able to return the dress to the store but have to mail back the dress, but can not get in touch with anyone via, telephone, text message, email so what are my options. Called the store now twice and the store manager is a waist of time as she can not assist in any information and will not make any except to help customers return dress that were ordered wrong due to the information that the store had provided me. The store manager just kept telling me to keep trying all the things that I have done and wait for two weeks but explained than I would be passed my refund date and then what have dresses still with me and no refund.
The funny or not so funny thing is that I spoke with a store manager that used to work at David's Bridal and she stated that they did take in the dresses that were order on line and refunded the customers. I do not understand why they are okay with taking my money and not refunding when a customer is unsatisfied with the product.
There refund page online states the following: Your feedback has inspired us to do better. Our goal is to provide a stress-free shopping experience and make sure you love your purchase. If you change your mind before your event, we now offer free returns and exchanges.
Here is my thoughts if our feedback has inspired you to do better than reach out to the customers that I trying to get in touch with you and also if ordering online will not allow you to return to the stores if unsatisfied then change it so that your customers are satisfied. This just makes your business and customer service look bad when customers are looking for dresses on that special occasion. SHAME ON YOU, DAVID'S BRIDAL!

My appointment to try on dresses was my first red flag. It was simply awful. My “stylist” thought this was “say yes to the dress”. She told me to start looking and then, when I turned to find my mom and group, they were all gone. She apparently told them they had to sit while I looked, but she let my aunt stay. She thought my aunt was my mom and thought my mom was my grandmother. She never even asked. I didn’t know what happened until she brought me to them. But before she LET me be with my family, she started showing me dresses I told her I didn’t like, so I asked her if she had my wish list. She said she was going off my wish list and then showed me. She was using someone else’s list and didn’t believe me when I told her that. For the rest of the appointment she was basing dresses off of that list. I tried to show her mine, but she was more interested in what she thought I would look good in.
Then, before she took me to my family and friends, she pulled me and my aunt aside to tell me that she would advocate for me and it didn’t matter what my family said, like this was some TV drama where I’d love something everyone hated and would be left in tears. I told her I didn’t have any issues with the people I brought and I trusted them. I was so in shock.
After trying on about 3-4 dresses of a similar kind I had told her several times I didn’t want, she stumbled upon my dress. I actually loved it. Then she gave me a bell to ring and make a wish...it was so u comfortable and awkward. The whole appointment was uncomfortable and awkward...
I should have taken my dress to a different place to get it altered, but I went back. BIG mistake. I went for my first fitting and got the alterations in place. I wanted cap sleeves. At first, they didn’t said they didn’t have them, which I thought was strange since they had them for my first appointment where we laid them on my shoulders to see what it might look like. Then they came back with a pair and called it a miracle. One last pair. So they put them on and by the time my second fitting rolled around...quarantine. So I had to pick up my dress and was rescheduled a few times until things got cancelled and I never heard back. I wasn’t surprised. The alterations lady had messed up my scheduling a few times. I let it go because I really wanted the appointment and had a flexible job.
Weeks go by and I can’t really try on my dress because I live alone and it has a corset backing. It looked good and no major alterations were done to the fit, so I thought it’d be fine.
10 days out from my wedding and I decide I HAVE to try it on. So I put everything on backwards, lace it up a bit and turn it around. It took a while and a lot of arm twisting, but I got it. Then I put my arms thru the sleeves.
Turns out this wasn’t the last pair of sleeves. They were left over sleeves, both left-side sleeves. The seamstress put two left-side sleeves on my dress thinking she’d just turn one around and it’d be fine, except they’re wider in the back than in the front. It’s not subtle. It’s awful!
Well, 8 minutes into their work day, DB is "experiencing higher than normal call volume" and then the call hangs up. ... You can text them so that YOU can go about your day and talk to them at your leisure, though if I wanted to talk to them in a leisurely, casual way, I probably wouldn't be texting or calling them. And then their website says they're getting higher than normal text messages and it takes 24 hours to respond to a text. Getting married in 9 days. DB is closed until after the wedding and are not able/willing to take any calls and I can’t get the sleeves replaced or done over. I’m so disappointed and angry. DB was such a mistake.

WHERE IS MY DRESS?!?!?
If I could give a 0 I would! I’m VERY FRUSTRATED!!!! I ordered my dress in February and it was due to arrive March 26th. I understand that Covid-19 has made a mess of things, but it is unacceptable to tell me you will ship my dress and I will receive it before the wedding date if that’s not going to happen. My best friend’s wedding is tomorrow and I don’t have a bridesmaid dress! I was told I would have my dress before the wedding date April 30th! I contacted David’s bridal multiple times but was put through to an absolutely terrible automated system where I was told I would receive a tracking number and my dress would be shipped! I have yet to receive a tracking number! I don’t know where my dress is, if it is still in warehouse or if it was shipped. No one can tell me where it is and now I fear my dress is lost and I paid for it! I’m not happy! Don’t tell me you will give me a tracking number, don’t tell me you are going to ship my dress if you aren’t going to do any of these things. I want to talk to a human being not text someone 1-2 days later after I request to talk to someone about my situation!!!!!!
