Don’t waste your money My box literally fell apart. It came with a hole in the cheap shrink wrap they used. Essentially this is a cardboard box that they stick your wedding dress in. But here’s the fun part: I opened it since it was useless and they had put A TON OF HUGE STAPLES IN MY LACE GOWN. Oh also huge safety pins. They stretched the off the shoulder sleeves and almost tore them. They also put a ribbon over the waist of my dress? Like a belt? It ruined the look of my dress. Here’s the other fun part: I contacted the preservation company in JULY and they have yet to send a refund or anything. They promised me a check in the mail and now won’t respond to me. Just pay more and go local. I have more to say about this gown preservation cardboard amazon box but I’m watching my language.

Ordered a dress peak Covid-19. The dress ran small so i needed one size up. i was one day past the 7-day return policy and didn't realize they refused to return the dress unless i purchased a new one first (so spend another 200$ on top of the 200$ spent) i lost my job so it took me 3 weeks to save and borrow money. Bought the dress said it would take 2 weeks to ship and they cancelled it the day it was supposed to ship. Now the dress isn't available AT ALL. Bride only wants this dress. Now I'm out $200 (+100$ for a used banged up dress). WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER dont even try to use the text help line like they suggest when you call those people are not working and are rude they disappear and tell you not to bother them during lunch (tell your company maybe?). No sympathy or flexibility during hard times if they had any compassion i would have the dress and they would be getting additional money from me for alterations. Will NEVER give a recommendation and to all my future friends that are brides and will make SURE Davids bridal will not be visited by them. Support small businesses they have hearts.

I ordered a dress for step son's wedding and it came in the mail today all wadded up and twisted in a knot around the hanger and crammed in a plastic bag!!! What is wrong with you people?!?! I would have paid extra for a BOX to ship it in!!! I will NEVER do business with David's Bridal again!

Purchased a dress to wear at my son's wedding. Instead of driving long distance to pick it up when it came in they were nice and offered to ship it to my home. I wish I would have went in to pick up. They took the dress, wrapped it around its hanger and put it in a plastic bag and shipped it. Seriously! Bag arrived with many tears in (caused by hanger) it, dirt and small snags on the dress. Who ships a dress for a wedding like that. I could deal with the bag thing but with its hanger!! I know after past experiences I shouldn't have gone to Davids Bridal. They Did Call, they did say they would make changes to the way they ship gowns, and they gave me a percentage off my dress to make it up to me.

Their return policy is ridiculous, and they take advantage of their monopoly, knowing bridal parties have no choice if the bride wants to use them. They have no incentive to improve customer service. I am not allowed to return a never-worn, unaltered dress with tags still on, because it's more than 7 days past the purchase date. This is crazy in the best of times, but no allowances at all have been made for wedding cancellations due to the coronavirus. I can't be the only person with an expensive, useless dress now hanging in her closet.

The on line customer service is not good. You have to correspond by text only. They have had my return for 8 days already and tell me it will be 5-7 ply more days for them to process the refund. The dress looked nothing like the photo. Way to much fabric for a good fit. Tried on and sent immediately back.

In July my daughter and I went to David’s bridal in Sugar land Texas and her wedding is the first week of September. We drove two hours to go to Sugarland to try on dresses and she found a beautiful dress that was on a manikin. The sales lady was very nice and my daughter at the time was six months pregnant so the sales person told her that they had someone there to do alterations. We bought the dress and came home and a month later we scheduled an appointment so that we could go have the dress altered. When the alterations lady pinned everything that she needed to alter the dress we went to the front to pay for some other items that my daughter bought and we were given a ticket saying that the alterations were $235. No one ever mentioned any cost to alterations not the sales person and not the alterations manager when we called to schedule the appointment. So we had driven another two hours to go and do the alterations, we drove two hours to go buy the dress, and now we have to drive two hours again to go pick the dress up and the frustrating part is that everyone acted like it was no big deal and the manager made it plain and clear that she was not going to deduct any money and then decided to go ahead and deduct the $35 fee for the rush on the dress. I called the corporate office and was told somebody would reach out to me within 72 hours and it has been 2 1/2 weeks and I cannot get a hold of anybody at the corporate office as I keep getting the automated machine. We chose to drive to Sugarland but if we would’ve known that my daughter was going to pay $1700 for a dress and then another $235 for alterations we would’ve bought a cheaper dress. It was upsetting because two Different people which was the sales woman and the alterations manager could have told us that there was going to be a fee for alterations but neither one of them mentioned a word.

Terrible place to trust with your dream day. I’m not even the bride🤦🏾‍♀️. When I originally went in to pay for my dress it was a mix up in the color, we phoned the bride to get everything squared away, to still receive the wrong color dress. Long story short, I wouldn’t purchase a FLOWER from David’s Bridal. Even Management is terrible to deal with along with corporate do not get yourself tied up into the bull for your perfect day.
