David’s Bridal in Stratford shopping village was my daughter’s first appointment. This was a day we had been very much looking forward to and had no pre conceived ideas. We were asked to arrive early and then stood watching the staff who stood around inside the store. Finally they opened the doors and we made it inside 5 mins late! We were allotted a stylist who told us to find 3 dresses and that was basically it!!! The dressing rooms are little bigger than a cupboard and our fitter even closed the door on my daughters head. He ignored our choices and proceeded to try and persuade us into a dress that was clearly not suitable. This all whilst reminding us that time was of the essence and we were nearly done. In short the dresses were made of below par materials and did not resemble the online images. We had roughly 1 and a quarter hours to try - less in reality, and a very poor experience. There was no feeling whatsoever that we were valued customers- just a bunch of sales staff who wanted to sell their cheap goods with pained grimaces not reaching their eyes. Horrendous and upsetting experience. As we were leaving Our “fitter” mentioned us leaving a review about our great experience? This is my calm and measured response. Appalling shop and badly trained staff with cheap goods that anyone can source online for a fraction of the price.

If I could give a negative star I would!! Customer service by the manager at a store level is horrendous and the “case” managers at Corporate are just as bad!! It takes them a week or longer to call you back. They have the return policy set up so they are guaranteed the business because they don’t offer refunds after 7 days!! This company is a joke and are ripping people off!! No wonder they filed bankruptcy!! Do NOT buy from this company

BRIDES BEWARE!!!!! I HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!! They ruined my wedding dress by messing up my alterations and I had the worse customer experience! They filler out my alterations paperwork without asking me! On top of them messing up my alterations they didnt get all the wrinkles out of my dress! They said the room that they steamed in was dark and they couldnt see well! But I should invest in a hand held steamer!! Everytime I asked the girl to fix something she acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. I spent over $1000 between the dress and alterations and they only want to compensate me $126!!!! Pick any bridal company except Davids bridal! They are sloppy, unprofessional, inefficient, and their work is terrible! They do not care about their customers what so ever. Go somewhere else! I was in Champaign, il! And not to mention my wedding is in four days and ai am having to deal with being on the phone with this company!

Terrible customer service! We received the dresses in the post and wasn't able to contact the store as it has been closed through covid-19. My dress still has the seems showing from the lining of the dress and doesn't look well made and is see through. I have just spoken to customer services and I'm not allowed to exchange the dress for a different dress as we're out of the 14 day exchange policy even though the store has been closed and she advised that I should sell it privately if I'm not happy with it which is disgraceful in my opinion. I was happy with the initial appointment but not happy with the quality and finish of the dress and now I have to find another dress in time for my sisters wedding. They didn't even offer to help amend the dress so the seems wernt showing so it was more presentable, will not be going here again.

My sister and I went in February to get our dresses altered and her wedding date is THIS Saturday April 10, 2021. We were supposed to pick up our dresses FINISHED on March 26th but we had other things come up and had to change the date. When my sister called to change the date NOTHING was said about her dress not being completed, having pins fall out, or any other excuse why they did a horrible job on her dress. We went this past Saturday (April 3, 2021) to get our dresses and mine was still big on the top and my cup inserts were all messed up. They tried to fix the cups but whoever re-sewed them did a crap job, because they came undone and now I am just taking them out and wasted my money on them. My sister's dress was HORRIBLE. ALL of the pins were still in her dress and since pins fell out and they decided to still take her dress in, it was taken in TOO much! They also "forgot" to put down that she wanted a bustle on her dress. My sister paid over $400.00 for her dress to be altered which is RIDICULOUS! NOW my sister had to take time out of her day today to go and get her dress re-done and then was told all these excuses about the lady being out because of COVID, excuse me, there are more than 1 seamstresses at that store, they could have finished it, end of story. THEN they MADE my sister pay an EXTRA $130.oo for her bustle that she told them she wanted and she thought she paid for already. I CANNOT believe this is how this place treats their brides on their wedding week! My sister is already a ball of nerves and having to deal with planning her wedding up to the day of, now she has to deal with this! UNACCEPTABLE! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT DAVID'S BRIDAL AGAIN and I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND DAVID'S BRIDAL TO ANYONE! I would rather shop online or at a more expensive place in order to get better service and better alterations! They should not have said something about COVID because we had this issue on Saturday and we were not told this....sorry I am not buying it. They also should not have made my sister pay for extra stuff when she had it already in her order and had to go through all of this only 5 days before her wedding! I am DONE with this store! If I could give ZERO STARS... I WOULD!

I went to David’s bridal and was quoted the wrong price for alteration. When I refuse the alteration services the lady ripped my dress trying to get it off. They were also horribly rude. If I could give a zero out of five stars I would. I spent one month trying to talk to corporate offices. They refused to let me return my dress but offered me a $50 payout. I also had to call them seven times to even address the concern. They are the most horrible customer service related people I have met.

This company is a waste of time with lack of customer service. My wife was sent to this location (2hrs away). They kept screwing around with my wife's dress. So far we have been back 5 times and still have not gotten the dress fixed. Do not waste you time with this company.

Horrible and would absolutely not recommend DB to anyone. I ordered my dress in store February 2020. After the pandemic hit they advised me to check in occasionally. So, I called once a month to make sure it would be in on time, and each time they said it would be in by June 1st (wedding in late July) and that they would call me when it arrived. I waited, but eventually June 14th rolls around and was told it was a little behind but would definitely be in on time. By the beginning of July I started to panic a bit, so I called again and they said it wouldn’t be in until August. Now, I understand that things were nuts but I called multiple times to check in and they didn’t even bother to call me and let me know it wasn’t coming on time. Since it would arrive after the wedding I canceled the order and found a secondhand dress online. Our 10-person wedding went wonderfully. While I was on my honeymoon they called to say my dress had come in. They refused to issue me a refund unless I came into the store which I did not feel comfortable doing. Eventually my husband called and got a refund, but the whole thing was just ridiculous. Go somewhere else so that you don’t end up without a dress for your wedding.
