Horrible experience
Horrible experience. Our bridal party groomsmen all traveled to be measured by the David’s Bridal staff, given a card and sent on their way. Once we were home, we had to go online to “The Black Tux” website through David’s Bridals website and put our sizes in, pay in full and await their arrival. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. 1) We were going to dress the groomsmen in different outfits from the person walking the bride in, and we weren’t allowed to even place the order because it wasn’t the same suit. I had to create a second account, and then order the father of the Bride tux separately. 2.) once we ordered (and paid in full) we were given a date for an expected arrival. Date was missed and then all suits were too short. Up to and including 5 inches too short - per their measurements. Had to reorder multiple times. All still too short or too tight. None of them fit (even after we remeasured and requested new ones. 3) The last suit was received the afternoon before the wedding by UPS and unable to send back for a refund because it had to be sent back before the wedding. The original due date was supposed to be two weeks prior. All of them were late - but this was the latest. 4) After having all suits and/or tuxes not fit, tried to contact “the black tux” for a refund and to this day, have still not received a phone call back. Also emailed three times - and only response was by email (even after requesting a phone call again) that read “sorry for the inconvenience on your order. Please re order”. Went inside the local store and was told by the store attendants “there is nothing we can do. We can’t get a hold of them and have no other way to contact them. Every time we call, the line says due to high call volume, we are not accepting calls?”... OK. 5) I called again and again and unable to leave messages or speak with customer service because the recording (when it picks up thanking you for calling) gives the same message of “due to high call volume, we are unable to accept calls at this time) - then it hangs up. 6) When the suits were received, they were so wrinkled, we would of had to iron or steam them to even use them. It was so bad. Thankfully, a local store in the brides hometown was able to help us get new suits or tuxes as needed the week of the wedding. Trust me. Do not order through David’s Bridals from The Black Tux.
