Absolutely awful customer service. I bought two dresses, plus my bridal gown from David's Bridal. They have rescheduled alterations appointments countless times, and when I went to try on the dresses, they had forgotten to sew one side of a dress, and the straps for another dress. They have now said my bridal dress will not be ready again (delayed for the second time), and I have already taken time off work and travelled an hour to get to the store. They leave altering your dress until the week of your wedding. Avoid at all costs.

Avoid at all costs. They are happy to take your money but fail to tell you your dresses will not arrive for your wedding. We have been left with a 12 year old with no dress to wear. They fail to return calls, they don't answer the phone. They basically lie for so long you are left with no options to go elsewhere. Multiple trips to the Watford store - not really local for us , multiple arguments in store begging to be told the truth. Wish we had never set foot inside in the first place. We were not alone either whilst waiting for the latest set of lies another lady with only days to go to wedding sat down and said she was not leaving till she had her dresses. The poor girl who dealt with us at first said it was the third time she had been shouted at that day already. Do yourselves a favour - go elsewhere.

I am writing as an International customer ordering online and wanting to return items and cannot get them to respond- happy to take your money but not give any refunds!, I would advise any international customers to avoid this company completely

After my first visit feeling nothing short of a cattle market - went on a Saturday! So maybe my mistake. You only have 1 hour to find your dresses try them on and ‘say yes to the dress’ - not my cup of tea! Came back months later on a weekday! After a mishap of no appointment being in the diary after booking online, they managed to squeeze me in (thank god as I’d travelled almost 2 hours to get there) Much better & found my dress. The assistant then told me they only had my dress in a 10 whilst I’m a 6-8. I chose to accept after being told their alterations would be around £150 as I loved the dress. Today, I went for alterations after being quoted approx £150 on my previous appointment today I was quoted in excess of £350, after being told would have to provide my own material, needed another 2 hr journey for an interim fitting, and after the seamstress had cut a chunk off my dress (top layer too) and then to top it off was told they had the same dress in my correct size at time of purchasing and it’s £75 less than the made up price they charged me!! I say made up because there was conveniently no price tag. Avoid this place like the plague, only reason it has one star is at least I found my dress!!

Today was the first experience my daughter and her bridesmaids had of trying on dresses, I’m sad to say it was the worst , we had a set booking and there was two other groups already in the fitting rooms ,after waiting 10 minutes for our stylist the bridesmaids were asked to come and be measured and then we were given the opportunity to pick some dresses that were all hung up , as there were already two other groups a lot of the sizes had been taken so we only had a few to try , my daughter had already seen on their website dresses that she liked but was told they didn’t stock them ,once in the fitting room two of the bridesmaids had to share and the rooms were badly lit . The stylist assigned to us was friendly but didn’t help any of the girls get into the dresses even though after one if them struggled in the fitting room to get a dress on, once out the stylist said that one is difficult to get into ,no shoes were offered we had to ask and we were not offered any other dresses even though we could see the other two groups with different dresses over all sadly a bad experience.

For my daughter's school prom we visited the Stratford Westfield branch for a dress. The sales staff were very helpful and professional and helped us make a good choice of dress. The big mistake was to have David's Bridal carry out the alterations to the dress. Had a fitting appointment were all the required alterations were documented. After a four week wait we returned to have final fitting to find half of the required alterations were not done and work done was of poor quality. On expressing our concerns we were informed that it would be another two weeks to correct the dress. In frustration and lost confidence in David's Bridal alterations have now had to take dress to another dressmaker to try and correct the horrible mistakes that have been made by David's Bridal.

Terrible customer experience trying to return a prom dress bought 2 weeks ago at your Watford Store - turns out it’s ‘ discontinued ‘ no wonder the assistant tried so hard to push it on us - no attempt to be compassionate about the situation or offer any help just sneering from 3 assistants who were standing around doing nothing with one of them Saying ‘ sorry ‘ in a fake manner . Well I’m sorry too - sorry I ever considered your store for such a special Occasion in my daughters life . Absolutely appalled at the lack of service , lack of compassion and cold sneering attitude

Went to S Burlington, V store for measurements for suit. Person who did the measuring did in the front doorway. Never filled in card just scribbled numbers on it. No measurements for shirt.
