I do not recommend David’s bridal the ladies there were not very helpful none of them seemed happy you’re there to fine perfect dress fun exciting day and everybody was grouchy. On top of that I paid thousand dollars for my dress came back for my alterations they didn’t tell me the cost of it until they were done putting it up so $500 for alterations which is ridiculous. I could’ve had my alterations done by a Lady in my own town and it would cost me half that. So my advice to anyone going to David’s bridal if you find the perfect dress they’re great but take it somewhere else to get alterations they will charge 2x more.

bad stock, shipping, and return policy
David's Bridal has a bad stock of products, shipping time, and an even worse return policy. I am a bridesmaid for a bride who found her dress at a store in FL. The workers pressured her into also having her Bridesmaids dresses bought in store. Unfortunately, they either didn't have the color she wanted, or the style was not in stock for the "average" sizes we required, or it wouldn't arrive in time for a wedding that was 4 1/2 months away. (6 weeks is way too long) So she SETTLED for a dress that is unflattering and not what she wanted for her bridal party due to pressure and confusion. When I heard about this decision a few days later I convinced her that there are better options out there and we should still try to have her perfect vision for her Wedding.
The website was not clear on the differentiation between an in-store and online purchase nor between cancellations and returns. Apparently, you only get your money back if you return it 7 days after an in-store purchase, which includes ordering it online at the store, anything else and you only get STORE CREDIT! What if you get the dress and it doesn't work? What if (god forbid) the wedding is cancelled? None of this was explained when they purchased these dresses.
Overall, the dresses are not convenient, the service was unclear both online and over the phone, and the harsh policies are not properly warned which ends up hurting the customers!
This company is supposed to help women cloth their Dream Wedding but in this case you have severely disappointed my friend (bride) Or as she says, "I'll just have to deal with it!" ON HER WEDDING DAY!
These issues should either be changed and/or explained to better suit the customer.

David's Bridal are crooks
David's Bridal are crooks. Tried to call someone about returning my dress 6 days after I bought because my fiance left me. No one called me back. Called again was told a manager needs to do the return. I called again then it was you are outside the return policy but we will give you store credit. I was like ummmmmm no just please give me my money. I tried to explain to the person on the phone that I've been trying to contact somebody six days after I bought the dress but they didn't want to hear it. They said it's a 7-Day return policy of course when I I bought the dress no one told me about the return policy but why would I care because I was supposed to be reminding you love my life who turned around and left me. So you tell me why I want this dress why I don't want to drive an hour and a half to go pick up a wedding dress that I'm not going to be married. No one will return my calls I've tried to call corporate I tried to call stores I tried to call a different stores this place is a joke. Shame on you David's bridal your customer service is horrible and just my whole experience was horrible. I felt pressured into buying this expensive dress because the sales consultant would not pull anything I liked. Was bringing me dresses that I didn't even show her. This is unfair and certainly isn't right. My dress won't even be here until mid-november. And if they go by the first time I called which was 6 days after I purchased the dress I can get a refund but of course I swear it's like they play the game because they knew I wanted a refund that the manager didn't call me back. I want someone to get in contact with me.

AVOID THE WATFORD STORE AT ALL COSTS
Watford store is absolutely horrendous....DO NOT USE THESE ABSOLUTE JOKERS! I can not put too much detail on here as i am in the process of taking them to court, however, what i can say is that their staff are rude and unhelpful, they miss deadline after deadline without apology or resolution other than further missed deadlines, their management are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard, and their alterations team would do well to pick up a copy of alterations for dummies (they may get better results). Please please please do not let these guys have an impact your big day.....they are not worth the stress i promise you.

Waist of time!!!!
My bridesmaids and I planned our appointment back in Feb. 2021. We go in today (8/2/21) I gave the woman who was helping us my budget. She shown us the dresses and explained the different sections. It was explained to me that you pull out dresses you like so the associates could pull them for me. When I went back with the associate to show her the dresses I liked someone put them back and I couldn't remember where they were. After spending just over an hour and 10 dresses later I found the one I loved. My problem was the dress I kept going back too was just over double my budget plan. There were 2 other bride-to-be also trying on dresses and 4 associates working. There was no communication at all. They spoke with the manager who was also helping pull dresses and offered 20% off the dress I picked or we could start over. I told them no and that we just waisted an hour and I was not going to start over.

AVOID AT ALL COST! WORST SERVICE EVER
Ordered me the wrong size dress (10 USA not Uk) twice and then had to choose another dress as it was discontinued whilst they had been ordering the wrong one.
Then sent me apt to collect my dress but then hadn't done any of the alterations that it needed so now have 2 weeks till my wedding and still no dress. 😱
Update 9 days till the wedding. Was meant to get a call from store Monday its now Wednesday and still no contact 🤷♀️dress was meant to be being delivered but I now have to go and collect it. Don't even want the dress now it feels tainted and ruined.

Watford store alterations.
We are very unhappy with the service that we received from the alterations department.
We paid £145 up front, The wear date was 15th July after many cancelations we finally picked up the dress that was not ready for 16:30 appointment at 18:50 on the 27th July,
Our original appointment was Sunday 4th July, This was cancelled as we were driving down the M40.
Next appointment was on the 10th of July, we called in advance several times dress not ready.
New appointment 27th (twelve days after the Prom date)
we found the dress not up to standard, as the lining was longer than the dress and it had not been pressed.
