My experience at David’s Bridal was really disappointing. First off I booked an appointment and I never got a confirmation email, when I showed up they told me I had no appointment even though I had proof of an appointment being made. Luckily I got to share an appointment with my friend.Then the stylist I got put with wouldn’t listen to my preferences and brought me out dresses I kept saying I didn’t like on my body type. He made me very uncomfortable and was very touchy with me and crossed my boundaries. He also made comments about my weight comparing my weight to my friend when I arrived which started off the whole thing badly. I also found that every dress that was brought out to me was a brides maids dress not a prom dress which I was there for, so all of the dresses he gave me were very simple and not what I asked for, since brides maids dresses are made to be boring so you don’t out shine a bride. I also found he was really pushy, since I had no appointment in place I was really rushed so I assume he was trying to get through my appointment as quick as possible which gave me no time to think about the dresses I tried on. Many of the dresses I liked were also a 20 week wait which was never mentioned before hand and most the dresses were not in my size so there was limited dresses. Lastly my friend went there as well and she reserved a dress she tried on and was told the price was £260 then when she came back she was told the dress was £290, so they had changed the price within an hour, or they hadn’t been clear with my friend before. I am really upset with my experience and came out of it feeling awful.

I bought a dress on Davids Bridal website. When it was delivered to me I noticed it had the security tag on. I had to go to the store in San Diego, at Camino Dela Reina (what’s the point to buy online if I have to go to the store?) and when I get there, the sales person says they didn’t have time to take it off? What???? Of course it took less then one minute to do. But it is definitely not a place to go back.

I made an appointment to shop for a mother of the bride dress. Arrived at the appointment and five girls stood at the front desk looking like they had no clue what to do. Finally we get pointed in the right direction. My daughter and I pick a few dresses and find our own fitting room. We never saw a consultant. We were never checked on, or offered any help. We decided to leave, nobody even noticed. Later that day I get a text saying I missed my appointment, even after I actually went. I found the dress I wanted. It was almost $400. I did not buy it from David’s bridal. I found it somewhere else. Such a terrible experience

They charge outrageous fees for returns—in my case, it was $34. I will never ever buy from David’s Bridal.

The sales team does great pushing the product and the dresses looks good. But let’s talk about alterations. They charge crazy amount of money for alterations at a minimum your spending 200 dollars to cut the dress cause it is always too long. They shipped the wrong sleeves, too big, and refuse to return money or make it right. Stating we don’t have it in store. Then make it right. Find it elsewhere. The veil just arrive a few days ago at the store and they won’t let me return it because they only accept returns 7 days from purchase. However, it just arrived and it was my first time really seeing how it would look like altogether. They give half truths. And try to squeeze every penny from you.

David’s Bridal return policy is the worst! They had to order a dress for me because the one they had was a size too big. The dress arrived about 2 weeks later and was too small. I tried to return the dress but was told it was outside the 7 day window, they start counting from the day it was ordered! I was told I could get another dress which wouldn’t work because the dresses don’t fit me, or I could get a store credit (good for 60 days), I have no need for a $250.00 bridal store credit (especially with such a short time to use). I’m hoping my daughter in law to be can use the credit, although I’m not sure what she’d buy, the merchandise choices are slim and they only allow in store credit, can’t order online. Very disappointed, I will dissuade others from using this shop.

Westfield Stratford Branch. Pre-sale approach seemed promising- was asked about wedding date and what we wanted. I specified date and colour choices. Helpful at rearranging appointment due to travel disruption. After that it was pretty dire. We arrived and were given a stylist who did not smile, was doubling up on another appointment and who took us to a small rail of dresses and declared these were the only ones they could get in time and that they didn't come in the colour I had asked about in the pre-visit phone call. Set the tone for the whole experience and turned what could have been fun into a total disappointment.

Awful aftercare I am devastated and feel like I have had a bridal experience ripped away from me ! Now feel like i have made the wrong decision 😥😥😥
