Its ok. They are LIVE leads which are more expensive up front but cheaper per quote and per bind than regular data leads. I would give more stars and buy more if I had someone to check and offer adjustments on filters, locations, etc. I'm captive and do feel they give higher quality to bigger agents then others. I use them for a couple months then stop when quality goes deteriorates. Would also like better pricing since I spend a lot of money on them. But hey, a live lead is a live lead....someone ready to be quoted. Worth a try if you need to write more business.

This company was great when it first started. Now you are bidding a high amount for leads and they create a 1 pager that they have given new farmers agents setting unrealistic expectations in my area. My average call costs $70 and the quality is not as good as it once was. They have also are difficult on their return policy even though they might send you a mobile home or something that isn't related to your campaign. The only reason I am giving 3 stars and not less is because I have had a decent conversion ratio (25%) This is good if you already have an established agency with 2 Million in premium. If you know how to generate your own leads organically it might cost you less.

I'm still getting adjusted to the system but I can see the progress and I plan on using you guys for a while.

Datalot is middle of the road. The quality of their live lead transfers are hit and miss.

This is my second review of Datalot, and overall I am satisfied with the results. To date I have closed 21% of my quotable calls, and that is a rate I can live with. There are ebbs and flows to this and the results are not immediate, but if you work the leads, you should close your fair share. My only issue with this company is their return policy. In this field you deal with a lot of customer dishonesty and that should be a reason for returning a lead. If the caller says they have no accidents the past 5 years, and is then transferred to the agent paying for the call, the agent should have the ability to run the reports to find out the truth. But if you run an "Underwriting" report, the call cannot be returned, which is not fair to the agent. If the caller lies, why should I be responsible for paying for it? And if it takes my running the CLUE and MVR to determine the truth, why am I penalized? Now, even the Pre-Fill report is considered an underwriting report. All that does is show their current insurance, if they have any. So overall, the close rate is acceptable, but the return policy is not. So make up your mind beforehand and determine if you can live with the return policy that eats away your available funds that could go towards quotable, legitimate leads. I'm now working with my second account manager, and he is doing a much better job of answering my questions, and taking care of my issues.

Datalot has always been profressional, my contact person Denise Sluman always goes above the call of duty.

The Service has been excellent & only gave a 3 because there has only been 11 Transfers since Aug 2d. to Aug 24. If we Increase that number to around 25-30 in that time frame, I will give a 5 John Gossage

Datalot is a better source for quotes than other companies. They have their days when they send some bad and some good or some in zones that we can not write. Sometimes the customer on the other line do not know why they are being called or the transfers sometimes are not smooth. Again, it is a hit or miss but we have sold some policies with the help of Datalot. There are some things that need changing but overall Datalot is a good lead source.
