Top quality product, amazing customer service, and great communication regarding any delays or recalls or price changes (which is to be expected with raw food, I’m just appreciative of their continued transparency!) We’ve been feeding our animals Darwin for years and can’t speak of the company highly enough.

I was a loyal customer of Darwin’s Natural Pet Food for about 12 years. For the vast majority of that time, I had a very positive experience; their customer service used to be excellent and handled the rare thawed shipment immediately. Sadly, the company's recent pricing trajectory and a complete lack of customer appreciation have driven me away. While I understand that sourcing raw ingredients and managing cold shipping is an expensive process, the sheer frequency of recent price increases became impossible to justify. Looking at my available account history going back to 2023, the data speaks for itself. My bill climbed from $182.28 in May 2023, to $189.84 in April 2024, jumped to $197.00 in February 2025, and reached $204.00 by December 2025. Facing yet another 9% increase this past June was the final straw. Alongside the compounding costs, I noticed a shift in the food's appeal—my cat was no longer satisfied after eating and began showing an unusual post-meal restlessness. Because of my over a decade of consistent business, I chose to send them a heartfelt thank-you note when I submitted my cancellation. The response was incredibly cold: a completely automated "subscription canceled" notification with absolutely zero human acknowledgment of my long-term loyalty. Being dismissed like a random account number after 12 years felt terrible. I would honestly learn to make my own raw cat food before ever returning to them. Darwin’s has shown me that they do not value or appreciate their loyal base, and I can no longer recommend them.

Darwins was great. We used them for the first four years and our dog looked forward to her burgers each day! The communication was always good and deliveries were always on time. The driver would carry the heavy box to our porch with a smile. Loved the annual photo contest and calendar. Thank you Darwins.

Giving my senior kitties the special formula. They are adapting to it and I'm trying to determine the proper amount. They do enjoy it.
Response from Darwin's Natural Pet ProductsJun 26, 2026
Hi Jean, That’s great to hear! It sounds like they’re adjusting really well, especially if they’re enjoying it. Finding the right amount can take a little time, but you’re definitely on the right track. Let me know if you need any guidance as you fine-tune it!
