Do NOT give this company the opportunity to take your money. Their products are nice, but not worth the risk. Amazon, Etsy, Wish, even AlliedExpress are more reputable and reliable companies.
They are in China, not UK.
They don't honor their return policy.
They have terrible customer service.

Less than impressed with the quality
Less than impressed with the quality, and even though the company is supposed to be English, the package was sent from China.
It also appears that I'm lucky the skirt fits. Otherwise it would have been a nightmare.
Not using them again.
Edit: Just got a mail from them:
"If you would like to write a good review, and email us after the review is completed, a 5 dollars coupon will be sent to you as a gift."
It's pathetic!

BUYER BEWARE.
BUYER BEWARE.
I bought a pair of boots as a birthday gift. Unfortunately they didn't fit but I was confident in the 7 day return policy they have in place. After reaching out to Darkincloset about the issue they did try to find a larger size but with no success,so I requested a refund and that's when the stonewalling began. Through many emails they tried to talk me out of returning them at first saying it would be very expensive to send them back and maybe try selling them on Ebay.
My question is, regardless if I was exchanging or returning them, the boots would have to be shipped back in order to be exchanged for another pair or for a refund, right?
They did offer to refund me $22 back? Not sure where they came up with this amount? Anyway they won't refund my boots and they didn't even refund the $22.
- This company does NOT REFUND!
Also
-This company is NOT based in the UK as stated on their webpage. It is based in China.
So if you purchase anything from this site and need to return it you can be assured Darkincloset will Not Refund you!

No Returns - The Worst Online Shopping Experience I’ve Ever Had.
TL;DR: This company has no real return policy, steals designs and directly lies about sizing.
Hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with an online retailer. This company is an absolutely fraudulent scam that sells clothes with stolen designs, claims they operate out of the UK, but instead ships direct from China for an up marked price and to top it off they have the absolute worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. I ordered a single pair of very New Rock-esc boots for $120 shipped (way cheaper than paying $400 for the actual boots they’re ripping off), but knowing sizing can vary a little when buying shoes like this online I contacted their customer support. They asked me to measure my foot in centimetres, which I did and they gave me what I assumed to be the correct size (a size 41, the largest that was offered on their site or any other for this boot). I asked about their return policy and they told me that if I wasn’t happy with them then they’d take them back and refund the full amount within seven days no questions asked. I ordered the boots that night. A week later they still hadn’t shipped out, RED FLAG #1. I emailed inquiring about it and they responded two days later saying they had just shipped them express for no extra cost (I already payed for express shipping, RED FLAG #2).
Then I saw the shipment was coming from China, not the UK as everything on their site had led me to believe. This is a common practice, but usually there’s something on other, much more reputable companies’ sites that says they ship from elsewhere, so there’s RED FLAG #3.The boots arrive in another week and some change and when I pull them out of the fabric bag they’re packed in they are so ridiculously small that they must be children’s shoes. Keep in mind, this is the largest size these boots come in and they’re hardly a women’s 7 despite being listed as a European size 41. I couldn’t get my foot in the damn things, and they allegedly had the measurements for my feet, so needless to say, RED FLAG #4. Naturally I contacted them again hoping for some resolution, and, oh my god, what happens from here on is absolutely ridiculous.
After no response for 24hrs they finally replied asking for me to measure my feet again, this time in inches. What!? RED FLAG #5! I told them I already gave them my measurements and that I just want to return them. Another 24hrs passes and they reply again saying “we need your foot size to find a larger boot to exchange it with”. RED FLAG #6, I don’t want an exchange, I said this explicitly. At this point I know they’re not really going to help, but I reply anyway saying I really don’t want another boot and I send the measurements in inches anyway. 4 days go by with no reply and we’ve hit the end of the 7 day return window. At this point I email them again asking for any sort of resolution, they tell me the boots aren’t available in a larger size (thanks, I knew this 3 weeks ago before I ordered them) and they offer to exchange them with a totally different boot all together. I decline this and ask for the third time to return them, making me feel like and idiot talking to a brick wall. In the end they admitted that their return address was the factory in China and that I would have to pay return shipping which would be prohibitively expensive, but they did say:
“Is it okay that we refund you 22 dollars and you keep them?
You can sell them to others on eBay or send to your friend as a gift.” This is a direct quote from an email I received only hours ago. RED FLAG #9999 at this point.
Just to recap, Darkincloset has:
- lied about their location
- lied about their return policy
- lied about the sizing of their clothes
- stalled for time until their alleged return period was over
And the cherry on top
- offered a $22 refund on a $120 item and told me to basically get lost and deal with it on my ow.
Don’t waste your time with this company.

Update to post from 2 days ago
Update to post from 2 days ago: This company has asked me to remove my negative posts and they will refund my money. It has been 8 months since I placed my order and many emails telling me they will reimburse me. Hard to believe they will do this if I remove the post.

Fraud
Fraud. Their return policy is a lie. They do not accept returns and lie to you when they say they are giving you a refund. A total scam--do not buy from them. You can get the same stuff at reputable places that honor their return policy.

Impossible returns.
Impossible returns.
Their clothing is made of much cheaper materials than they look in the pictures, and some of the pictures are deliberately misleading in terms of design.
My items arrived within a month, so I didn't have the long delay that some folks have reported. That was the only positive part of my experience with them.
It was a nightmare trying to get an RMA: they began making up excuses as to why I couldn't return anything, then they wanted photographs, then they claimed I'd have to pay a fortune to ship my items to China AND they expected me to pay the import tax.
They offered me $25 instead of the $125 I'd spent on the item I wanted to return. I finally agreed to that just to be done with it all, but they never paid the $25 and have just ignored my messages since then.
Just shop at Etsy. At least they allow returns.

Scam Alert:
So I really wanted to like this place.. the reviews were high.. The clothes looked great, but there are some pretty serious underlying problems. First off if they are out of an item in your size, you’re only going to find out too late.. then they begin holding your money for ransom after refusing to cancel your order. I was told a day after my order was supposed to ship (that’s right, they already took my payment for something they didn’t have) that they needed me to select different items because they couldn’t ship out of stock Merch, so I cancelled my order there on the spot and bought my outfit somewhere else. Fast forward to the next day, and I get an email from them asking me why I canceled.. and that they wanted to make it right. I was polite, told them I would like my money back please, and that I’d try again with them later (not even a slight chance now). Fast forward one week (after telling them the same thing every day), and they are still trying to ask me what is wrong after I’d clearly told them past ad nauseam that a full refund is the only thing that will fix this. I’ve requested a refund several times, it’s as if they aren’t reading my responses. Luckily I used PayPal, because this “business” would never willingly return your money. They would rather string you along and hope you get tired of their harassment. If you guys would have just returned my money I’d have respected you all a lot more and would have been happy to come back.. but this treatment isn’t right. -10/10 would rather go spelunking down a human sized garbage disposal drain.
Edit: 05/20/2020 Quite the quick response to my post here on Trustpilot.. they immediately e-mailed me that night stating that they would return my money.. but only if I took down this review. At this point I just can’t help but laugh. I’m beginning to think they hire out someone to write and post positive reviews on their page here..
