D'Angelico GuitarsReviews of dangelicoguitars.com

I love this guitar! Incredible rich tones and supreme playability! I am grateful to be able to have this fine D’Angelico instrument.

Bought long tailpiece for an old Vestax NYL-3. Arrived quickly and looks great! Also great price! Will keep the original wood tailpiece on guitar for now though. I prefer the tone it provides ( as compared to the Vestax NYL-4)

D'Angelico is a grand old name in guitar manufacturing, but has a new strength and dynamic. Management seems to be listening to the musicians. Excellent high quality construction with reasonable pricing. I play a lot of arch top guitars and D'Angelico has a clear voice with long sustain.

I've had my new Ice Blue Bedford SH for almost two months now, and it always amazes me how great it sounds. The only thing I wish they would do differently is purely cosmetic. I wish they carried different colors and styles of pickguards. I wanted the pearl guard instead of the white, but it wasn't offered on the Ice Blue model. The aftermarket place I was directed to didn't carry guards for the Bedford SH, only the standard Bedford (different). No problem though, I bought a sheet of pearl plastic and made my own using the original one as a template. As I said, though, this is purely cosmetic and a matter of opinion. Nothing changes the fact that this guitar plays and sounds like a dream.

I strongly recommend the D'Angelico showroom in Aspen! In addition to the warmth of the place itself, a very welcoming space with warm tones showcasing a large and beautiful display of D'Angelico guitars and related kit, Luke and Garland prove equally warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. Liz and I spent a couple of hours in the store, looking at and playing several of the guitars; gear-talking; musing about a life in music rather than what we both currently do for a living; learning about the D'Angelico history and the current revival of the brand; lounging and petting their dogs Luna and Possum. In short, the showroom and the guys who live there are terrific ambassadors of the brand and of the art. Go visit them. Enjoy.

My second D'Ang Premier acoustic. String height, neck straightness not adequate. Too much buzz at the 9th fret with 3 biggest strings. Truss rod adjustment won't make it perfect. But fine guitar personality in tone and volume.

Was looking for a guitar to learn and play and the D'angelico SS Premier took my breath away! I now own one of the most beautiful guitars ever made and it plays like a dream! I will definitely be adding more of their guitars to my collection.

Very easy to use store. My order was tracked and I was notified as the order was processed and delivered in a very timely manner. Definitely will return if/when I want to make a direct purchase through this manufacturer in the future.
