I would like to offer my sincere gratitude to Matt @ D'Addario for some rather unique and outstanding customer service. Even though the issue was relatively minor but unusual, I asked for advice and before I knew it, a new replacement was at my door even though they were under no obligation to replace the item. I very much appreciated George's handling of my complaint! When I shared with him the huge frustration and inconvenience of the EJN27N-3D strings being packaged in such a way that it was impossible to identify for sure which string was which, George was "real" -- he empathized, and apologized sincerely for the difficulties that the lack of instructions and clarity in packaging had caused. He did explain to me what the package should have shown -- i.e., the color coding system, and which color was supposedly applied to which string. Some of the colors on my strings were missing or extremely hard to identify, but, through a lengthy process of comparison and elimination, I believe I've sorted out which is which. George expressed that he wanted to make things as right as possible, and his handling of the situation made me very grateful he was the one who called me back -- which is why I wanted to make a point to write this glowing review of his excellent customer service!

Very impressed with the (UK) order process. The website was extremely easy to navigate and find exactly the product (strings) that I wanted, then selection and payment was very easy also. It was followed up by informative and timely confirmation emails for both the order acceptance, and then the shipping. To top it all, I'd placed my order at 11am yesterday, and they were in my mailbox this morning at 10:30. Plus I know I've got the genuine product and not fakes, which is increasingly becoming a problem these days. Well done, D'Addario! Very satisfied customer :-)

I have been using D'Addario strings since the early 70s, though they were D'Angelico strings I was buying back then. They are the longest lasting string, and they hold their "new string" brilliance for quite some time! I have begun using their NYXL and I find these strings to be even more brilliant and more long lasting! In my opinion, D'Addario has reinvented the guitar string....and I have been playing guitar since 1958! I have recently purchased their stainless steel Cradle Capo, and I find this to be among the VERY BEST capos I have ever used...and on both electric and acoustic guitars! BRAVO, D'Addario!

My son purchased some bass strings that didn't look right (ball end colours mixed up; string gauges when checked on verniers didn't match packaging), so we contacted customer support, who initially checked whether the strings were counterfeit (they weren't) and then told us the local rep would be contacted. A couple of weeks ago later I sent a note saying we were just going to use the strings as we were tired of waiting... nothing. Then a week later a note that we were disappointed... crickets. ** After leaving this review they contacted me to advise that their emails had not been received by us. This was a problem on our side with the ISP email server not sending selected emails to our mail application. It was no fault of D'Addario. Update 23/8 Have re submitted a request through the portal however I have been responding to the email as it suggested - "To add additional comments, reply to this email." Update 28/8 D'Addario have asked their rep to send us replacement strings.
