So disturbing and astonishing how truly bad the CVS pharmacy has become! Gone are the professional staff you could always rely on to have a two way communication regarding some questions you might have about your medications Alarmingly they have now been replaced by (not all) a newly graduated pharmacist staff with less or non existent skills in civil discourse replaced by inappropriate behavior manifest alarmingly by facial grimacing and sarcastic comments both unacceptable and unwarranted responses towards an innocent unsuspecting new pharmacy customer’s prescription dilemma! Whether subjective or objective my review is a cautionary tale hopefully helpful in selecting your best neighborhood Pharmacy!

Can I give ZERO stars to CVS in…
Can I give ZERO stars to CVS in Whitinsville, MA. WALGREENS please open a location here....I got the WORST service there yesterday. They did not send me home with all of my prescriptions....the cashier thought her mistake was funny and literally laughed in my face. My husband had surgery so that is why I was there. The Pharmacist is beyond LAZY. The Pharmacist could not answer a simple question about baby asprin and blood clots....she told me to "Call my doctor." She just filled the prescription....baby asprin is now prescribed after surgery...I did not know I am not a PHARMACIST!!!!!! Rude, uninformed, ignorant and unwilling....that is what you will find at CVS on Providence Road in Whitinsville, MA....I had to go back to that toxic nightmare to get the third perscription....run screaming....go to Wal*mart.

CVS at 242-24 Northern blvd
CVS at 242-24 Northern blvd, Douglaston NY 11362, has had long standing of being crude, rude and obnoxious. Including being very short and not identifying themselves when answering their phones. It would also help if they identify, buy name, who they are. Unless you want to be treated like a second rate citizen, STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Warning when scheduling for vaccinations!
Warning! If choosing a time for vaccination at your local CVS your time is also being given to 7 others at that location. This told to me by pharmacy staff. Huge backlogs of people milling about waiting. I asked to cancel my appointment and I would reschedule after waiting 20 mins. Staff couldn’t tell me how many were ahead of me. I left. 4 hours later I got 2 emails saying they had given me a flu and covid 19 vaccine. Even lot number and which arm. And they had not. Drove back to store and no one knew what to do. Finally they moved me In front of a bunch of people overbooked into time slots and gave me vaccinations. CVS is not making sound business decisions. No regard for staff having to deal with overbooking and no regard for customers thinking a scheduled time actually means something. Very very disappointing.

I am on line at CVS on Mamaroneck Ave…
I am on line at CVS on Mamaroneck Ave White Plains NY. I have a 7:00pm appt for flu vaccine. 7 of us are on line for 40 minutes waiting to be seen. Some staff returned to the minute clinic 20 minutes ago. Went into offices and disappeared. I can see one with door open looking at a blank computer monitor. He just put closed sign on the door. Is there any hope of getting vaccine before store closes?

CVS—Consistently Valueless Service
Last year, I made to changes to my Medicare Part D supplemental insurance. First, I switched from United Healthcare to Silverscript (Aetna). My premiums went down significantly—almost $500 annually. Then I transferred my prescriptions from Walgreen’s to CVS. My co-pays all but disappeared—another savings of nearly $800 As a result, I was saving over $1200 a year.
While the move to Silverscript has been great, it turns out I’m not certain that the savings of having CVS as my preferred pharmacy has been worth it. I now know that CVS stands for consistently valueless service.
Most recently, I went to refill my six prescriptions. I went to the store at 4309 Connecticut Avenue in DC to try, once again to get them all on the same schedule. I was told that 5 of the 6 were ready to be refilled but one needed to be renewed. My physician called that in the same day.
Three days later I went back to get all 6 refilled and was now being told that 5 of the refills were denied as being too early—contrary to what I was told three days before. The pharmacist told me to come back the following Friday to pick up all of my medications.
I waited an extra day. When I arrived, only 4 of the medications were ready. I was told the other two were out of stock. In disbelief, I asked the clerk to recheck the shelves. He found one of the medications but said the other would have to be ordered and would be available on Monday.
As I was leaving to pick up the medication on Monday afternoon, I received a message that the medication was not available and that the prescription had been transferred to another store. I had not asked that this be done nor did I approve doing so.
Nonetheless, I went to the other store, having been told the prescription would be ready. When I went to the counter, I was told there were no prescriptions for me. I was incredulous.
Someone finally said they had taken a call from the other store, but had not yet entered the prescription into the system. I was told it would be ready within 15 minutes. That time passed. Finally, I learned that there was some technical issue and they had to wait for the pharmacist to resolve it. That took another 30 minutes. In all, I had to wait nearly an hour to get my medication.
At both store, there were several other customers with similar issues—having been told their prescriptions were ready only to find that some were not. Or that individuals had appointments for vaccinations, with confirmation numbers, only to be told there was no record of their appointments.
The staff at both stores were not just incompetent, but also uncaring and rude. When I asked for the contact information of the district/regional/area pharmacy manager, my request was refused. I was told to call an 800 number.
CVS makes billions from seniors. They treat us like nothing more than an ATM. We deserve better
