Going to pick up anxiety meds only to find out they have an automated system for towing non customers cars?
You should be ashamed you evil bas-tards, I'd rather go back to Crack than ever buy a single fraudulent drug from this shi-t company

Three step prior authorization
Three step prior authorization. Doctor sends in request, your medication plan manager approves the request then an office person vetoes the whole thing telling the doctor who specializes in pain management he prescribed the wrong quantity and drug type because it is not on the politically approved list. Bottom line in my 73 years I have never seen worse customer service or just plain coverage in my life. The state of MA selected cvs caremark for all state employees because they were the cheapest and had the least coverage they could find. Why give an employee insurance that doesn’t cover anything.

There should be a no star box !
There should be a no star box !The pharmacist , Imad ,told me my doctor sent a hard count of 3 one month fills (30 a month , 1 a day) . I show him a bottle filled showing 3 refills ! Simple , 1 fill + 3 refills is 4 !!!! Is the hard count wrong or my script labeled wrong ? I was a moron rudely treated and need to get with my doctor , Really ? Next month one would see 2 refills but no , there was ZERO ! I asked what "arithmetic" did you learn in your training ?CVS was golden , I was an idiot and needed to get with my doctor . Serious medication , Xarelto . Process that one !

Not worth one star.
My sister had an antiviral prescription sent by her doctor the evening before and her CVS pharmacy received it first thing Monday morning. I went to pick up the prescription for her at noon, when the automated messaging system suggested. 9am to 12pm. Three hours to fill a prescription. When I went up there, I was told, "It's not ready. We're an hour behind." No apology. Just a reminder that they'd be closed from 1:30pm to 2:00pm for lunch. CVS used to be a top notch pharmacy. No more. They are constantly understaffed. They are always behind filling prescriptions. There are a few staff that provide good customer service, but most are tired, cranky, lackluster or flat-out apathetic, no doubt because they are overworked and understaffed. I think the only thing keeping that company aflout is greed, and that can only last for so long.

CVS customer service refuses to take responsibility for the actions of their store employees
I purchased a product at a CVS store on 12/23/2023 as a Christmas gift for my aunt. The price of the product was $22.75 after tax. I used my $20 CVS rewards and paid $2.75 by my card. But my aunt didn't like this one and wanted to change to another one. So a few days ago I went to this CVS store again and asked if I could exchange it for another product. The store staff told me that he could not exchange it and could only issue a refund and I can purchase another one. I asked him at that time I used rewards when purchasing. If I return and get refund, will the rewards be refunded to me? The staff said that the rewards will be refunded and printed under the receipt, then I could use it again. So I agreed with him to return the product and refund me. But the $20 reward did not appear on the printed receipt, so he changed his words and said that it might have been refunded to my account. But I checked my account but no rewards were refunded. So he told me he didn't know and asked me to contact customer service. But when I contact CVS customer service, they completely shirk responsibility. They said that the behavior of the CVS retail store has nothing to do with them, and they cannot refund my rewards. I told them I returned that product just because the staff of CVS retail store confirmed that my rewards can be refunded. The value of this item is $22.75, and the rewards I paid is $20. If CVS store staff said that rewards could not be returned at that time, then I would not return the product, so that at least I still have a product with a value of $22.75, but now I have no money and no product, it's unreasonable. The cvs staff represents cvs, whether he is right or wrong, it is cvs. CVS can't pass the buck just because their staff said something wrong. CVS ought to give me back $20 rewards, even if their employee is wrong, but for me, the cvs staff said is same as cvs say

If I could give zero stars about Josh…
If I could give zero stars about Josh at the CVS in Independence on 23rd and Chrysler I would. After turning in my prescription, WITH my new insurance card, I was notified that all was ready to go. When my husband went to pick that and other prescriptions up (having been just released from hospital) he was told that they don't take our insurance. When my husband asked why they didn't tell me that when I presented the new card with the prescription, Josh told him that I didn't show a card. When he was asked if he was calling me a liar, he said yes. I didn't even deal with a "Josh" when I went in so I wonder who is the liar in this scenario. All this to say, what kind of romper room, kindercare is CVS running up there, where a so called MEDICAL professional treats older, vulnerable, patients with less care than rats get? With care like this, why not just load us up in cattle cars and take us out to pasture? I left another pharmacy for CVS, a decision I will regret putting money into. Thanks for NOTHING, Josh and CVS.

If I could give 0 stars I would
If I could give 0 stars I would. What has happened to customer service at CVS? I had 2 Rxs called in at 9:00 this morning. According to the CVS app, one of my Rxs will not be available for 2 days. I would expect someone to call me and inquire if they could check inventory at other local stores and help me out a bit. But no communication at all. I called 2 local CVS stores and held for 20 minutes to speak with the pharmacist and no one picked up the phone. I called CVS customer service and that agent also was not able to get anyone to answer the phone. Not only are we encouraged (sometimes forced) to use self service check out but now we have to struggle to get someone to answer the phone?? This is ridiculous and unacceptable. I should have used my Express Scripts option. Would prolly get the medicines I need quicker than this!

Recently my wife had emergency surgery…
Recently my wife had emergency surgery to remove a large ovarian cyst. The surgeon suggested we use the hospital pharmacy to fill the prescription for her pain medication so we didn’t have to stop at CVS on our way home. A future refill was sent to our local CVS to be filled after the original prescription was depleted. When we I went to get the prescription refill the pharmacist questioned why we were using two pharmacies for a controlled substance. I explained but he continued to question me. He then under filled the doctor’s prescription because he didn’t feel my wife needed 24 tablets, he only supplied 18. This was very embarrassing since the pharmacy was crowded with people waiting for their prescriptions. He was not discreet in his volume or his tone of voice. Two weeks later when I returned to get the last refill he again questioned why the doctor had given my wife another refill. That is when I pulled up a picture of the surgery, showing a 12inch incision and a cyst the size of a football. He said “ well I am not saying she isn’t in pain”. I asked him if he knew more about abdominal surgery than the chief of staff surgeon at Halifax Hospital. So I embarrassed him in front of a long line of people waiting to be waited on. So because of his rudeness and an on going list of your conglomerate pharmacy incompetence we are no longer using CVS for anything. This pharmacist was, according to the store manager, a “traveling pharmacist”, what ever that means. There is no excuse in treating customers in this manner. The HIPPA law is to protect customers, CVS needs to reevaluate the way they treat their customers.
