Contacted by automated prescription about 3 days ago. I went to pick it up today. They said it was ready 2 weeks ago which was not true at all. Said my doctor recently canceled my prescription also which is not true at all and I confirmed this with the doctor's office. I was upset of course because they were rude and didn't try to help me carry the prescription can be life threatening if I don't have it. They were very rude and I said I am done with this store and the manager said good I hope you are done. This store was in Eden Prairie on Columbine Road. Never go back there again

You cannot reach anyone in the pharmacy…
You cannot reach anyone in the pharmacy and they refuse to call back. Like this is the butter of your business. After 3 days of leaving messages I will be going to Walgreens.

Thought Saving $ was Worth the Risk - Wrong!
I read the poor reviews and thought I could save few bucks - but IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!!! I've spent HOURS over 11 days trying to transfer my RX from Fred Meyer's pharmacy but the transfer didn't go through. I'm now on hold trying to cancel the transfer and stick with Fred Meyer, in case it does, ironically, go through (they published a different number that I've been transferred to and it's been 17 minutes on hold again).
I initiated the RX transfer on 9/20 through the website, received confirmation numbers twice, but the page to check status says there's an issue. I've left 3 voicemails on CVS's RX support line - no return calls. I also installed the app, hoping for better results but no.
I've spoken to pharmacists 3 times (when you can finally figure out how to actually speak to one) and they haven't had any success, no calls back, nothing in the app or web version of cvs.com to show the reason it's not going through. The last pharmacist said she'd send a fax request that afternoon to Fred Meyer 4 days ago, but Fred Meyer said they hadn't received it.
I've also left 3 voicemails (they screen you to do this) and sent 3 online messages requesting support - not one response from CVS.
So, after 11 days and behind on taking my medication, frustration that the website kept telling me there is an issue w/o a resolution, no updates or responses from calls, email, voicemails, I'm giving up. I regret that I attempted the change in pharmacies.

Can hardly be worse.
Their automated phone answering is horrible - useless for (maybe) anything other than the most basic issues.
Impossible to reach a human.
Can hardly be worse!

The CVS at 8280 Magnolia
The CVS at 8280 Magnolia, Riverside California is the wurst on earth. I have been a customer since 2017 and they are
Getting worse and worse. They lose medications. Drop them at my front door and leave them there all night. When you call they could care less about you.
I am transferring all my prescriptions to Optum.
CVS shame on you!!! 😭😭😭😭😭😭

They think people have time to wait. Every time I go there all you do is wait. What a disaster of a business. Done!!!!!
Every time I pick up my granddaughters prescription. I wait!

I am giving one star because ZERO stars…
I am giving one star because ZERO stars isn't an option. I was forced to switch to CVS by my insurance.. I HAD RiteAid and everything was great. Now, with CVS ... you cannot call them. You must go into a "leave a message" hell ... No one calls you back. In the store, the lines are ATROCIOUSLY LONG and ..apparently ALL the employees have to have lunch at the same time - and the pharmacy closes at that time. I am trying to arrange for delivery on their horrible website to no avail at the moment ... I miss RiteAid. CVS is crappy, slow, impersonal and all-around lousy.

It probably started as a simple…
It probably started as a simple mistake, but just got worse and worse due the "I can do no wrong" attitude of the pharmacist.
My doctor ordered a prescription of insulin for me. CVS sent me a series of texts saying "We got the request", then "We're working on it", and finally "You're prescription is ready for pickup"
I was traveling, so my wife had to pick it up. What they gave her was another type of insulin based up a prescription earlier in the year. They filled the wrong prescription!
Probably just human error, but rather than admit it the pharmacist took the position of "this is a prescription that is on file" - even though it was months old and not what my doctor ordered. At first he was going to exchange it if I brought the wrong stuff back, but somewhere he got off track and went on several rants that all summed up to "It's my wife's fault for paying for the wrong prescription". Somehow, she is supposed to second guess the pharmacist.
I did speak the internal CVS customer service, and they confirmed the prescription was filled in error. They promised to write a report and get back to me.
In the meantime, I'm out $150 and have no insulin!
Luckily, I did recognize I got the wrong insulin before I loaded it into my pump. I could be dead by now, or at least seriously injured.
