A lot of things stink about CVS, but what broke me was their new phone policy. Having to leave a message at a pharmacy is ridiculous. This is medicine we are talking about. Any number of things could go wrong. Why would they make it so you cannot talk to the pharmacist?

We use the CVS store on Elm Street in…FRUSTRATION!
We use the CVS store on Elm Street in Springfield, MO.
We hve been FRUSTRATED every time we have to pick up a prescription. They are NEVER on time with our meds. Recently we had to
Make 3 trips to their store in one day before we could get our prescription!
We went last night to get a new prescription but of course it wasn’t ready! They told us to come back tin the morning.
This pharmacy is maddening. They seem to have no respect for my time and the inconvenience they continue to cause me. Their customer service is sad.

Worst pharmacy ever
Terrible service and you cannot speak to a person in the pharmacy over the phone. You have to leave a voice mail and hope they call you back. Now I have to drive to the pharmacy to speak to someone and then drive back tomorrow to pick up my prescription, IF they have it ready, which in most cases they do not even after several days. Nice that they close for lunch too - imagine if your bank did that, or Home Depot, or the grocery store. WORST pharmacy ever.

Zero stars
The worst outsourced customer service out there. They don't listen to your issue, make you jump thru hoops to verify your account, laugh with their "colleagues" while on the phone with you and tell you to call back. Eff that.. And eff CVS.

No customer service
Tried to cancel an order that wasn't complete. Called customer service to cancel.they called the store and told me they cancelled it. Not only didn't they cancel but I was billed a second time. Called the store and finally got someone and they told me I could only cancel online. Will never use CVS pickup again.now I will be double billed. Will not pick up the order

Worst Pharmacy I’ve ever had to work with
Please believe these reviews. This pharmacy is awful. We needed a prescription for our dog. The vet called in and provided the prescription 3 times - each time the pharmacy claimed they didn’t get it. Our vet provided the call logs to show but they still wouldn’t accept. We then got a written prescription scanned by our vet that they wouldn’t accept because it wasn’t “written”. So the vet called a 4th time! The phones are a joke, they wouldn’t call the vet back or call themselves to confirm (despite it being their fault the prescription wasn’t going through) and said the vet had to be the one to call. They claimed at first it’s because we weren’t existing patients (we are) - when we proved that false they then said, well because it’s a new prescription for an existing patient they can’t help. It’s absolutely ridiculous and the worst service I’ve ever had - especially when you’re dealing with a serious health emergency. I’m infuriated and stressed.

Southbridge MA CVS pharmacy
I have been using CVS pharmacy in Southbridge, MA for over 10 years now. I take most of the same medications I took then, a few new ones. They have always given me trouble filling my recurring meds. I take albuterol inhaler and albuterol solution in my nebulizer. They refuse to fill my nebulizer solution because it's the "same name" as my inhaler. The doctor prescribed levalbuteral instead, they call the doctor and then tell me the doctor changed the prescription that I have had filled every month for 10 years and I can't take it every day any more. The doctor tells me that that is not true, but they still won't give me my nebulizer solution. I have recurring prescriptions that I try to fill and they cancel them without even trying to fill them. I try again and they tell me they have it scheduled. When the scheduled day comes to fill it, they tell me that they have to order it and I should have requested it sooner. I go for days and sometimes more than a week without medication I'm supposed to take every day. I have multiple health issues and a terminal illness for which I take medication to slow the progress, and that is one of the medications they refuse to fill on time. This is crazy. It's always been a hassle, but they are getting worse. I can't keep fighting like this. I am in the process of changing pharmacies. I think that that is what they want. I do have a lot of medications, and they are busy, so they either don't want to be bothered, or they are incompetent. Either way, I'm afraid that they might refuse to fill any of my prescriptions while I'm changing pharmacies, or some other kind of retaliation. No one should have to fight like this to get important monthly medications or to have to worry what the staff might do.

CVS committing fraud!! Avoid Marion IL store they cheat you!!
I went to the CVS in Marion IL and they had CVS calcium chews on sale buy one at $12.79 get the second one for 50% off. I was there today 11/25/2024 at 1:32pm the transaction number is 9565, the reg was 7 in the pharmacy the name of the girl who rang me up was Jamila cashier # 0356789. She got my CVS card number and added it but then charged me full price for both items $12.79 for each one instead of giving me the 50% off the second one per the sticker in the shelf in front of it. I did not notice it until I got back home and was looking at my receipts and I live over an hour away. I went to Marion to my doctor. I then called the store and they do not even answer but make you leave a message for a call back. I left the message and no one called me back so I called again and selected the store option and got the manager Carley who was extremely rude and unhelpful she automatically tried to deny the issue and blame it on the customer saying “Oh she must have forgot to get your CVS card!” when I told her that the girl overcharged me. Then I told her “No she did get my CVS number and enter it and still overcharged me”. Then she put me on hold and came back and said that the items were not on sale so that is why it did not deduct and she said the sticker was above them. I explained to her I used to manage for Walgreens and am not and idiot and do not buy anything that is not on sale and the sticker was right in front of the calcium chews. She then wanted me to bring them all the way back to the store to get the difference and I told her I am not driving over two hours round trip to get $6.40 and that she needed to just send me a gift card for it, which she refused to do so I told her I would contact the corporate office and she acted as if she could not care less! This is FRAUD and THEFT!! They are doing the same thing Dollar General was doing and busted for it! Please go after them!! All retailers are stealing from the public and getting away with it! Walmart just cheated me out of $18 for an ink cartridge I purchased too that they refused to give me a refund on after their employee told me the wrong one to buy!! I brought it back within an hour of purchase never used and with a receipt!! This was at the Centralia IL location! I sent a complaint to the IL AG weeks ago about it and he still has not done anything. Stop allowing this lawlessness and theft!!! I have the receipt if you need it!!
