I wish that Sav-On would never of sold…
I wish that Sav-On would never of sold out to CVS!! SAV-ON WAS by far way better pharmacy/drug store /nick-knack etc.and Sav-On was open 24/7 at 99.9 percent of the stores. They basically had anything and everything one might need . They stocked everything from packs of hubbabubba gum to chips ,ice cream ,milk dairy producks to beer and hard alcohol to gifts ,birthday cards, hygiene producks to cameras ,film 1 hour photo development ( there was digital cameras back then) except Polaroid cams they sold cigarettes for cheap ,tools, tubes if you got a flat tire on your bike or even tire patch repair kits ,bike lights tape glue ,propane canisters for camping /cooking / tweeker uses if you're in need of it to re blow your glass pipe if you broke it (which I wasn't into that kinda of activity thankfully) but you get what I'm trying to say here right ! SAV-ON had everything just about to suit anyone's needs . Then all of the sudden sav-on starts closing all their locations rapidly . And all of the sudden here comes all these new building going up everywhere and of course at all the locations where there was already Sav-On there all changed to CVS !! WHAT A SAD SAD DAY THAT WAS !!CVS AINT GOT JACK SHIT AT THERE STORES NOT TO MENTION VERY FEW WERE OPEN 24/7. CVS JUST FLAT OUT SUCKS AND HAS SUCKED EVER SINCE THEY OPENED .. FACT IS THAT CVS JUST SUCKS . OH WAIT DID I ALREADY MENTION THAT CVS SUCKS . OK YES I THINK I DID . . OK IM DONE RAMBLING ON ABOUT THIS TOPIC. IF YOU STUCK IT OUT SND READ THIS REVIEW IN ITS ENTIRETY THANK YOU AND YOU MOST LIKELY FEEL MY PAIN. LOL. HAVE A GREAT YEAR ALL. BORN AND RAISED RIGHT HERE IN SUNNY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

Took no responsibility for gift card fraud..shame on them
I was a tried and true shopper with Long's drug stores/purchased years ago by CVS pharmacy. I purchased a gift card in November 23. My son was going to buy a seasonal ski ticket.. He decided to wait until the following year and when he opened the card the numbers had been scratched off which was not viewed or checked by checkout person. CVS has denied returning my $524 which they should be responsible for. This is fraud in itself. They are ridiculous and the people I spoke to could barely speak English. I will never ever shop there again

HORRIBLE
HORRIBLE. Terrible attitude at the pharmacy they laugh in your face when asking about medication, and talk to you in a horrible tone. And the higher up just laughs with them and looks at you if youre dumb. Ridiculous. Need to get better people working there.

CVS is a terrible company
CVS is a terrible company
I recently took a survey and was to receive a Health and Wellness kit. I took the survey and was charged $11 for shipping and handling. I received another email to take another survey and they wanted $9.95 for shipping and handling. I called the corporate office the first rep said to call the insurance co. and hung up on me. I called the insurance co. and she said it is for CVS and not insurance co. She connected me to CVS corporate office where I am

Definitely a negitive experience
I would agree with previous negitive reviews regarding the Halls Pharmacy. If you have a
Control substance, I would definitely not go to the location. I had called yesterday, and was told that they had the medicine I needed. My Doctor sent the prescription there and was told to call in the morning to get the medication precription filled. Of coarse this was a Saturday! I called as was told. While waiting I received a call from a women, Allison, and was told that they were not excepting new controlled medication patients. I explained I had talked to someone yesterday and nothing was said. I asked to talk to the manager and was told he was off this weekend and wouldn't be back until Monday.
I attempted to ask to talk to the pharmacist but Allison actually hung up on me. I would definitely find a different location!

The pharmacy at the CVS store at 1396…
The pharmacy at the CVS store at 1396 Second Avenue is a disorganized mess. I have never had a prescription filled without some type of mishap occurring that resulted in delaying the receipt of my medication by at least one day. This weekend it happened again.
I ordered a refill of my medication two days ago (Saturday). The following evening I went there to pick it up, only to find the pharmacy had just closed. (It’s advertised as being open 24/6). I then checked the app and saw that it said the medication was not going to be ready until Tuesday (3 days after I called it in)!
This morning I called the pharmacy to find out what was going on. I was told that the message on the app was incorrect and the medication was actually ready. I could have gone over to pick it up, but the person I spoke with promised the medication would be delivered to my by 5:00 today, so I said that would be fine. Guess what— it was never delivered. I again checked the app. It now says that the medication was received and “shipped” today but it will not be delivered until tomorrow. I live 5 blocks away.
CVS has told me they use a third-party delivery service. They claim they have no control over when medication gets delivered, nor are they able to track it once it’s picked up. I have been further advised that the delivery service must pick up the medication by a certain time or they will not even deliver it the following day. This has been my experience on at least two occasions.
The problem at this location is not just with delivery. The last time I ordered medication I went in person to pick it up. After waiting in a long line for 20 minutes I was told they couldn’t find my prescription. The records showed it had been filled but they looked all over and couldn’t find it. They refilled it while I waited, which I appreciated. However, 2 days later it was delivered to me at my building!
They also do not let customers know why there are delays. If they don’t have enough of a medication in stock to fill a prescription they simply don’t fill it. The app only says that the prescription was received. It doesn’t tell you if there is going to be a delay or why there’s a delay. They pharmacy should be reaching out to the customers to advise them, so they can make alternative arrangements (ie, look elsewhere). There is no way to avoid getting caught in this situation. If you try to call them all you can do is leave a message and hope they call you back.
Unfortunately, I’m stuck with CVS because they a preferred provider on my prescription drug plan, and the CVS on Second Avenue is the closest one to where I live. However, having had these repeated incidents, if I have an urgent need medication I will use another pharmacy that I can trust, even though I may end up paying more. My health is too important to gamble with.

Horrible
Horrible. Spent 30 minutes in the drive thru. I did the express pick up. Nothing express about it. Person handed me meds was rude and dry. No apology or care. I asked why did you let one car hold up the entire line. She just stared at me with a blank face and said, “Uh huh.” I said, “Okay, bye.” Will be switching where I get my Rx from.
