Needed some medications this week. Took 3 days to get one of them after being promised it the first day. No notifications as to the status. The other medications took hours to fill. It didn't seem to be that way in the past. What is going on?

Shouldn’t even get one star
Shouldn’t even get one star! I am sick and went tot he doctor who called in a prescription for me. 5 hours later nothing, I called and was on hold for over 30 minutes. I went in and the line was ridiculous, people were angry that their prescriptions weren’t ready, some had called them in days prior. Their excuse is they lost pharmacy staff. The store manager is a joke and when you talk to her she says what do you want me to do about it. While I was wait because I wasn’t leaving without the antibiotic I switched all my prescriptions to Walgreens. This pharmacy is a joke if you have prescriptions on auto fill you still have to go in because they forget to fill them and get the same answer, sorry we are short staffed because the pharmacy staff quit, I will never shop at cvs again. I have given you way too many chances and I’m done!

Horrible treatment to a child
As others said, they don't even deserve 1 star. Putting aside that they put me in the hospital last year by not attaching all the warning labels on my Rx; what they did to my granddaughter this year was horrible also.
Went to the CVS in our Central Park, Fredericksburg, VA Target straight from the doctor's office. My daughter told the pahrmacist she was picking up an RX the dr's office had sent over. The pharmacist reluctantly looked for it, then said he wouldn't fill it because it was written a certain way. My daughter asked him to call the dr's office and he refused. He said he was filling another RX and then closing! We had been told my granddaughter's condition was very serious and we needed the medicine immediately. This upset my daughter so much she was crying and trying to call the dr's office and the pharmacist just closed his window and left. This left a very ill 6 year old girl with no medicine! What kind of medical professional does that?
My daughter then asked the dr. to send the RX to the only all night pharmacy in our area which, unfortunately, is also a CVS. That pharmacist also said he couldn't fill it the way it was written, since that appeared to be for an injection, but he would NOT call the dr. and straighten it out. My daughter called the dr. again and we were told they'd call the pharmacy and fix the RX. The CVS pharmacist knew we were waiting. He left us sitting there for 2 hours, in his sight, and never bothered to tell us that he hadn't heard from the dr. yet. Eventually the dr. did get it straighted out and it was filled. The treatment of these 2 CVS pharmacist's to a 6 year old girls immediate need for medicine is absolutely deplorable, however. Do Not use CVS pharmacies if you have any other choice at all!

I don't even think they deserve 1 star
I don't even think they deserve 1 star. I have been getting my prescriptions filled at CVS for over 20 years. Since corporate changed what ever they changed I have ran out of my meds and have had to call sevreal time before they fill them.

There's a CVS inside of Target by where…
There's a CVS inside of Target by where I now live. I have a monthly prescription with auto renewal, only my coverage now requires me to get three months at a time. So, last time I was in, I told the pharmacist that I would need to switch to 3 months. He said he would make a note of it. I got notice my script was ready, went in and they only had one month. Also, I come in and the pharmacist is filling scripts for someone who just came in and dropped off and he didn't acknowledge me for 15 minutes. I'm just there to pick up. He finishes with that and finally helps me and he has just one month. I explain that I need the three months (again) and this is the SAME guy I spoke with the last time. He explains that the script was just for one month, so that is what they were doing. I explain that that WAS what it was, but now I have to do three months. He tries to explain the math of getting one instead of three. I explain that I HAVE to get the three now. More awkward waiting. Finally, he admits they only have one month of the pills right now. He says he can order and get more by tomorrow. I leave. The next day I get the notice that my script is ready. Go in. And SAME THING, just the one month of pills. I again explain that I was there the day before and was told to come back in and I need three months. Now I'm told it takes longer to order. Mind you, they have my phone number. They could text me and explain. I was all out of pills. So, they end up giving me one month and they will charge me for all three when the other two come in. So, NOW I have to make a third trip to CVS in Target to get the other two when they get those. Bad customer service. Bad communication. And I am convinced that the guy from the previous day just put my script back on the shelf and did nothing. Nice!

Our family has been using CVS for…
Our family has been using CVS for prescriptions. Huge mistake!!! They will call you with their automated reminder svc for no reason other than to harass you!! It's constant!! Then, the store tells you that you must call 1-800-shopCVS. Good luck!! You'll spend hours on hold, finally get someone and they simply CANNOT correct the issue!! If you don't want to be harassed constantly, go elsewhere for pharmacy svs!! Half the time, they mess up your order anyway!!! Horrible customer service, long wait times and constant telephone harassment!!!

Don’t go to CVS at 133 Silver St in Agawam Ma
Went in on a Friday morning, was told they didn’t have any of the drug but was expecting a delivery that afternoon and would have everything ready the following morning (Saturday). Went in Saturday around noon and was told they didn’t have enough to fill the order and gave me 9 pills to get me through the weekend and would have everything set for Monday. I was busy on Monday and went back Tuesday morning, about 10 o’clock. The young lady at the drive thru came back and said they could only give me 1 pill ( I take 3 per day). I asked to speak to the pharmacist, because this was the 3rd time I had been back for the same prescription. After waiting about 10 minutes at the drive thru window, the pharmacist finally came over and said they just found out they had the drug and could fill it now but could I come back in 15 minutes and it would be ready. I told her that I couldn’t come back in 15 minutes, because I had an appointment to be at, plus I proceeded to tell how irritated I was to have to come back 3 times for the prescription and also proceeded to tell her how the system is flawed because no one called or texted me to inform me they couldn’t fill the total of the prescription, nor did they offer for me to pick up the prescription in it’s entirety at another local CVS. If you are doing the math, they were now telling me to come back a 4th time. I gave them approximately 5 hours to fill what they told me would be 15 minutes. Well wouldn’t you know it, when I got to the drive thru window, I was told my prescription was still in process and not ready. I told them I wanted to speak to the pharmacist and in no uncertain terms this not acceptable. Well I waited at the window for about 15 minutes and finally the pharmacist came to the window with my prescription. No apology, no I’m sorry, just gave me the prescription and told me there were 2 different manufacturers but the same drug. That’s all she said. Again, no apology and no I’m sorry. This, by the way, is not the first time I, members of my family and acquaintances, have had a problem with this CVS. This is not a knock on CVS, just on a particular store. The store in question is the CVS PHARMACY LOCATED AT 133 SILVER ST IN AGAWAM MA. I only go there out of convenience, being that I live about an 1/8th of a mile from there. If you live in Agawam Ma, do yourself a favor and go to the Springfield St CVS, not this one. I hope, somehow this review gets to CVS management in Rhode Island.

Just a terrible organization
Just a terrible organization! They don't even answer their phones! I've been on hold for 3 hours with no one picking up the phone. I need my medication for diabetes now!
