I get texts about my prescription refills, but also texts for another customer entirely. I called my pharmacy and shared all the details I had from the texts I had received for whoever Eric is.
I was promised that this would be investigated and rectified. I still get texts for Eric's prescriptions.
If I get texts for somebody else's prescription, who gets mine? Keeping patient information confidential is beyond important, it's an actual requirement, but CVS doesn't seem concerned in the least.
Probably time to consider another provider.

CVS in Swansea, IL…
I have been using CVS for some time in CA, so when my new insurance provider had CVS as their preferred pharmacy, I was happy. However, this particular CVS (Swansea,IL Store 2585) is absolutely the worst. I have tried on several prescriptions and found them to take forever to get filled. The latest encounter was the best. After trying several times to get through to the pharmacy, I drove over to it, while still keeping the call open and still on hold. When I arrived I went to the pharmacy desk and sure enough, i heard the announcement in the pharmacy that there were three calls on hold. (One of these was mine). There were two people working there, both ignoring the repeated phone calls on hold alerts. Finally, one of the girls, Theresa, came over and asked what was going on. I was at the counter about five minutes being ignored with my cell phone blasting CVS commercials (now on hold for 25 minutes) I asked, Theresa, when she intended to answer those calls. She said, "we're busy." and ignored the calls on hold. I asked about my prescription and she said it was not ready yet. It was a prepackaged item and just needed a label. Five minutes later my prescription was filled. I asked what the priority was for attention. She said 1. (drive through) 2 (in store) 3 (phone). Ironically, the people on hold are totally clueless what is going on. in addition, Theresa, was rather snotty when I questioned her and asked for a manager. The manager, was not a manager, the actual manager was on vacation. She was a shift lead. She told me that everyone complains about the pharmacy and in desperation, call the front of the store. Then the request has be written down and carried to the pharmacy for an answer. This is a terrible pharmacy and I would suggest you take your business somewhere else. I sure am.

Cvs pharmacy is a joke and kathy at…
Cvs pharmacy is a joke and kathy at corporate was no help at all. I was at end of my pregnancy and signed up for monthly carepass only find out you can do a yearly and save more money. So I call carepass they tell me go into a store and the store says you have to call carepass...
Are you seeing the issue here I am given the run around. Then they tell me go online and sign back up.So after 25 minutes on hold with corporate all they said is I'm sorry let me investigate to get back on the phone who says I'm sorry your upset and I can reset your password. Cvs pharmacy doesn't care one bit about you and your issues. So just a heads up dont waste your time with them. I wish I didn't have to put a star. Cvs pharmacy is not only a horrible company for its consumers one of the stores has buckets everywhere cause they aren't doing anything about a roof leak. I hear how bad the employees dislike there jobs. I am so over cvs pharmacy and to the point I dont want to step foot back in their store and I use to shop there at least once a week to 2 times. Plus I plan to move all our prescriptions out of there too.

WORST PHARMACY on Planet Earth
WORST PHARMACY on Planet Earth. If award existed, this CVS could easily win.
Prescriptions are NEVER ready when promised, even when doctors or I transmit or phone them DAYS in advance. Most recent example: 2/28/2020 phoned in a refill. 4 DAYS LATER, arrived at promised time & they didn't have half my prescription in stock!
Lost count on number of times I discussed this with store managers.
If this location wasn't 1/4 mile from home, I would NEVER shop here.

CVS pharmacy in Clover SC is the worst!
CVS pharmacy in Clover SC is the worst! They constantly make mistakes and never accept responsibility for it. Even if it’s their mistake they will not give you a refund. If you are stuck with them like me, watch their work closely. Never pay till you are sure they give you the right drugs!!

The only reason I use cvs is because my insurance demands it or I pay full price. I absolutely hate it there. The wait time alone on the phone is NO less than 4 minutes!!
They’ve gotten prescriptions wrong, NEVER EVER let you know if they use a different manufacturer. I could go on & on but they’re not worth it. I’d give anything to return to WALGREENS.
