CVS takes advantage of our older people and those that don't have much knowledge of the internet. I sign up for something I didn't know that they can go right to your bank and help them self by offering things like $ 10 off and another $ 5 bucks or $ 10. I tried to get a hold of someone anyone from their corporate headquarters it just goes around to their answering service where you stated from, they can stop it but not tell they got their $ 5.33 out of your bank acct.

I had the most terrible experience in three of the CVSs that I visit regularly: Eastern Parkway in Schenectady NY, State Street Schenectady, and now CVS Secauses NY. The staff is unable to help when you ask for help, are continuously rude, you never find things in their right place. When you go for a free flu shot, they try to charge you for that, and one has to take care of one's bag/purse as there are pickpockets around (and the staff knows about them) and when one complains to the managerial staff, one is met with hostility and intimidation.

I’ve always had great customer service at CVS until today. I went to pick up a refill and they had a woman who was obviously being trained assist me. When she ran into some issues another tech (Nyia) reluctantly went to assist her. Right out of the gate she had an edge, she was talking extremely fast to her coworker and obviously was put out. It wasn’t so much what she said, but how she said it. I finally asked her name so she might think before she spoke further. She barked Nyia with a side head tilt. After A few more sharp exchanges and I had my prescription, I let her know that I wasn’t ever going to used CVS because of her lack of soft skills. She said ok with a smirk. The manager ran up and introduced herself I believe it was Alysia. I explained the poor customer service I received from Nyia. She apologized about the experience and said she would talk with her which was great except Nyai was behind her rolling her eyes. If you want to spend your money and receive terrible customer service, I highly recommend. My family will never use another CVS pharmacy.

I am incredibly unimpressed by the “deals” CVS claims to have in store. The store is covered in “buy one get one free” and “you pay this” discounts that are available through your CVS extra care card. How might you get these awesome discounts? Well, not even if you have the extra care card! You have to either go to your email and open up the thousands of CVS emails in your spam inbox to manually “move the coupon” to your extra care account or you have to have physical copies of the coupons. Very annoying and altogether disappointing. The cherry on top was the store I was in didn’t have cell service so I was unable to dig through my emails to transfer the coupons to my extra care account. It sure feels like CVS doesn’t actually want customers to have the deals, how odd is that... just don’t offer them if there is a 10 step process that involves leaving the CVS to get cell service to get my darn coupons.

The CVS Pharmacy located 1101 Gilmer, Sulphur Springs, Tx is in my opinion one of the worst pharmacies you could choose. Long wait times, even after calling to verify that your meds are ready and letting them know that you are on your way to pick them up (it's not like it's just a couple minute drive for me, it's over 25 miles or like on 3/4/2020 leaving Paris, Tx and needing my meds filled that day. Called before I left and still not ready for pick-up after a 54 mile drive and I still have another 25 miles to drive after leaving CVS), poor communication with the customer (as an example 3/4/2020 I wasn't notified that they are out of one of my meds until I arrived to pick my meds up and it's too late to call my doctor and have that prescription canceled and sent to another pharmacy.) 3/5/2020 The med that was out of stock the day before was supposed be delivered and filled first thing, though when I call to check the status of the order I am then told that it won't even be delivered until midday and won't be ready for pick-up until late afternoon. The sad thing is that this is one of the better pharmacies in Sulphur Springs Tx with Walgreens and Brookshire Pharmacies being equally as bad and only Wal-mart Pharmacy and the local pharmacy Cody Drugs being so bad as to not do business with at all. You would think in a smallish town someone would understand the concept of customer service and the importance of communication with the customer but apparently those are outdated ideas in an environment where the customer has very limited options.

My experience at the HENDERSON NV CVS off of Eastern and Horizon Ridge was nothing short of maddening. Bad service, poor communication and rude staff are just a few reasons I will never use a CVS again. Based on all the reviews, this seems to be consistent with many customers' reviews. Looks like Walgreens will be getting my business.

I went into our CVS store on San Carlos Avenue in San Carlos, CA to pickup several prescriptions which my doctor had prescribed that day. When asked for a copay of $114, I declined the medicine. I specifically told the clerk that I did not want that medicine and to put it back. Later that month I received an EOB from my secondary prescription insurance provider and saw the charge for the medication which I had declined. I called that provider to report this inaccuracy and was told to expect a credit from CVS for this charge on my next EOB. 11 days later I'm back in this same CVS store to pickup another prescriptions just ordered from another doctor. I was not asked for the $114 in copay so had no alert with what I was picking up. When I got home, I discovered that the medicine I had declined 11 days earlier was in my bag. I put the unwanted medicine aside and decided to 'deal' with it when I returned from my European vacation. It wasn't until I returned from my travels and was processing my mail that I saw an EOB from my primary prescription insurance provider showing that over $413 had been paid to CVS for this unwanted prescription: $114 from them and $299 from my secondary provider. I took the RX back to CVS at this point (unopened and still unwanted) and was told it had been too long and they could do nothing about it. I've filed a formal complaint with both my insurance providers and now writing this review. I suggest using Walgreens for your RX needs. I will NOT use CVS for future prescription needs. When I refused the original prescription, the medicine should have been put back into stock and my account should have been so noted. The lack of detail in CVS prescription department worries me that perhaps there could be the same lack of detail while filling my prescriptions!

Their phone program is an absolute joke. They constantly call me to the point where I have to block the number. And when the automated call comes in that your prescription is ready, they never specify which prescription it is!!! The auto refill is never accurate, I literally have 9 Bottles of my prescription because they kept auto refilling it.
