Very dissatisfied customer
This evening I was patiently waiting in the pharmacy drive-through line of CVS on Churchville Avenue in Staunton when the car in front of me pulled away. As I was pulling up to the window the technician looked right at me and closed the grate to lock the window. It was right at 8 o’clock when the car in front of me pulled off despite me having waited in line for nearly 10 minutes. I understand the pharmacy closes at eight but I never received a call to tell me my prescription was ready (the doctor just called in this evening at five when we left his office). My daughter needed this antibiotic for her surgery taking place tomorrow. I pulled around and went in the main entrance where I spoke with a pharmacy worker who told me there was nothing she could do because the system automatically shut off at 8 o’clock. This was a ridiculous response and completely unbelievable. Systems don’t just shut down unless they’re queued to do so by the person operating them. I tried to speak with the store manager and told him that I needed to get an antibiotic for my daughter’s surgery from the pharmacy but they said they can’t do anything. He did not even respond with a single word but simply just shrugged his shoulders and stared at me. Completely unprofessional, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
