Do not waste your time getting tested for Covid-19 using CVS pharmacies. I am currently waiting for my results 15 days after being tested. I contacted the lab who blamed the delay on a backlog and suggested I call back in 3 days if I have not received my results and they will make note to expedite my test results. I now have had to pay out of pocket to retest at a site that provides results within 24hrs so that I can return to work.

I agree with the other comments about never going to CVS for Covid testing. I am now on day 18 awaiting my results after they promised 7 to 10 days. I needed to have a test after my daughter tested positive so that I could determine if I could go into my workplace. What good will results be to me now? Shame on you Cvs.

Do NOT get a COVID-19 test from CVS. It’s been over two weeks and I still do not have the results. After I finally got through to a person I was given the run around and told I would have a message in My Chart in three to four days concerning the issue. CVS filed a claim with my insurance company. I will be calling to warn my insurance company not to pay until the results are received.

For the pandemic I received a text message stating that all extracare rewards would be reissued but mine were not. I called customer service 5 times with no success and the store doesn't deal with the rewards reissuance. Why send a message and not honor it. I'm more than disappointed in CVS and their non response to loyal customers. I had $30 in rewards that said were not expiring for another 2 weeks and the next day they vanished. I am tired of trying to reach out with no answer back. You should get rewards with no expiration date. Most of the stores were not open inside except for the pharmacy area for months. I would love to know what happened to my rewards as I put 5 essential items in my cart and before I could order them the rewards vanished. The stores are a joke! Filthy, never have your medications in stock, downright Rude and argumentative techs and pharmacists. Making a patient who just had a severe CVA stand for almost an hour is unacceptable!!! Covid or not when I am the only in store person waiting on a med that was supposed to be filled 2 days prior to this it is a disgrace that it was not filled! We are talking about a blood pressure medication that I was not able to get for 2 days after this. I explained to them the urgency and either they did not care or were just plain ignorant I could not tell. When I called the district manager he called me a liar saying I know that tech and she would never say that. I can not directly remember what she said to me now since this has been a while ago but the one thing I AM NOT IS A LIAR! If I make a mistake I own up to it like the grown a$$ woman I am. I do not need to lie but obviously CVS does! Covering up for techs and pharmacists who are in the wrong is a felony per the state of Virginia and the laws that govern the board of pharmacy. I read every one of them so yes I know what they are and are not supposed to do. Including technicians. I bet if I had had another stroke by standing there they would get off their hour long phone call to check one RX. Pure laziness. Nobody is held accountable for their actions and crimes against customers. The drive thru is a mess and too long of a wait. Almost 2 hours for 1 Rx to be picked up and obviously going inside is no different! The way they do coupons is done for their benefit and not to the customers. They apply the biggest first then the 25% off do not use it all. Use on the most expensive item or it is worthless. Sale items not registering on sale and then my sherpa throw had bed bugs all in it. Did not notice until I opened it up on my bed. They were attached to the cardboard that's inside of the like itself and CVS has no accountability for that either. I had to get a whole new bed and everything thanks a lot. Act like customers have just money flying around to correct your mistakes. Did say something to manager but he could care less. I even brought the cover the cardboard and my blanket with all the bugs I could catch that I dumped into a bag back to him.A fool could easily tell you what a bed bug looks like. This was the first time I had ever encountered them. One $15 throw cost me over $3,000 in the end. CVS could care less about anything but gouging indurances outrageous inflated prices for medications. Why is it the same med, same quantity, same generic brand only $5 at Walmart but over $60 at CVS?? Hmmm good question. Whenever you look up pharmacy ratings they are the lowest and you would think that the company would clean itself up and actually care about helping the customers instead of price gouging them and their insurance companies. If I wanted to pay hospital rates I would've just stayed there.

CVS 6678 E. Va beach blvd Worst experience I ever had at a pharmacy.Went there on july 17 at 1 30pm stood 15 min not one customer in store and 4 people working in the pharmacy I was completely ignored for 15 min even after they saw me standing there. I was also told after my prescription was sent there by a long haired African American woman glasses told me that do not accept Medicaid anthem. Terrible customer service and it seemed like she ran the pharmacy and was just a tech.

DO NOT use for covid testing! It has been 16 days since I was tested and still no results. They blame their lab partners. Web site states 7-10 day result return. I called cvs hotline twice and the first time, 5days avo, they said results were ready and lab had to upload info to my Mycart account for me to see them, 5days later and still no results. Called today and they told me results weren’t even back yet. Get your story straight CVS! I know you get paid to do testing because you billed my insurance company and even though there is no direct cost to me you are still getting paid for a service that is getting rendered very poorly. Many free test sites like health department are getting results back in 2 days. Get better lab partners!!!! People are relying on you to be a provider of very important health services and you are being excuse driven at their expense. Some of us can not return to work or get paid for time off until we get our results back.

THE WORST. The OLD SAYBROOK, CVS pharmacy should be investigated before they kill someone with their callus, rude and incompetent service. (The "front"of the store is fine -- the staff are helpful, the aisles are clean and well stocked). But whoever runs the pharmacy should be fired for setting a tone of bulling and intimidation. Over the course of many years they messed up more prescriptions (and been nasty about it) than I can say. And I have CVS prescription insurance. Today was the last straw. Five visits over three days to get ONE LOUSY prescription filled. NO MORE. I am done. And if you are smart, don't wait for them to "fix it" -- as I have done. WASTE OF TIME
