CVS inappropriately shares private survey complaints
We had been having ongoing problems with the pharmacist of a small CVS at a Target store in New Britain, CT. We had to call CVS corporate twice about the horrible to deal with attitude of this pharmacist. And then last night my husband went into the pharmacy to collect a prescription for a medication I had never used. My husband is my caregiver since my brain injury. There was no information sheet provided with the medication (as they have come with every past prescription); nor did the pharmacist ask my husband if I needed a consultation regarding this first time use medication. I verified with him again and he confirmed he never received an info sheet. Thankfully we found that information online before I took the medication. Based on my medical conditions & history, this medication would likely have had a significant negative impact on my health. (Unfortunately the specialist who prescribed this had not seen me before and has little or no experience with the degenerative disease I am dealing with). CVS had sent me a satisfaction survey by email. So I responded to that email with information about the lack of information about this new medication. Then today I got an email from the pharmacist, who filled the medication and handed it to my husband last night without any information sheet. Her response was that there is an information sheet sent with every medication. This was not the case. I am furious that CVS asked for our confidential feedback and then shared my personal response with the party who had caused the problem in the first place. This can only lead to more customer relation problems. My husband left CVS last year because of this kind of thing. I will be doing the same.
