First of all, the AI generated automated system that answers the phone is a total joke. It's terribly frustrating to use. It did not give me the option to speak to the pharmacist or to even leave a message...it just got stuck in a loop saying, "I can't help you with that , is there anything else I can help you with?" It also gave incorrect information saying I have no prescriptions available when in fact I did. After som finagaling, I was able to get through and I got the most unhinged and unprofessional "doctors" (the pharmacist on duty) I've ever dealt with. His name is Ashraf Awawdeh. This person should be fired and his license should be revoked. He answered the phone angrily...literally yelling at me saying " I'm really busy" to which I replied: " I don't care about that...I care about getting my needed prescription that is nearly out. This unprofessional guy then said, "Well if you don't care..." and hung up on me! So I drove to the store and was outraged at this man's unhinged and angry demeanor. He literally said "Who the f*uck do you think you are telling me how to do my job." We go into an argument and he actually threatened me saying " I have all your information and I know where you live." Needless to say I've filed a formal complaint with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and with CVS corporate. Hopefully they will do the right thing and fire this person. I just wanted to warn the public to stay away from this particular pharmacy!

The CVS app is not reliable and does not always give you accurate information about your prescriptions. Do not trust it for accurate refill dates. Just get on the phone and call the pharmacy.

Today at CVS the worker/cashier was really rude to me. I showed her my phone so she could see my rewards and she told me that my phone was wrong, and that I needed to go outside (!) because I was getting bad phone signal. I wasn't, I was using the app while I was in the store. She shouted, she called me a tweaker, then she refused to complete the sale. I left.

The CVS.com website "claimed" to have the product I wanted. A 6 ounce tube of a specific body lotion. When I received my order confirmation, the photo in the email of my order showed a PHOTO OF THE 6 OUNCE TUBE of lotion. Something told me to go back into my account to confirm this. When I did, CVS CHANGED MY ORDER TO A DIFFERENT 13 OUNCE PUMP BOTTLE of lotion THAT I DID NOT ORDER. Trying to reach a real person to talk to was not good. When I got a foreign speaking representative, I was told that they could not cancel my order and I would have to deal with mailing it back to them and I would have to go through the trouble of calling back to speak to a real person, again, and explain to them AGAIN, why I was sending the product back. Are you kidding me??? I'm so done!

I walked into the CVS she did not have a name tag on, so I could not get her name. I asked if she can help me pay my extra care from the register. She explained that there was no way to get it done over the counter. That is when I asked her if it was possible to do it on my phone. She just looked at me strangely as if it was not my account. I said it was ok, I will figure it out myself. I stepped outside the store and went through my app, figuring it out on my own. Then as I returned back into the store it was as if they were now checking my every move. Soooo Rude, I just felt discriminated all the way around.

CVS continues to provide weak customer service. This chain is overextended in every store I’ve been in. As such you can’t get aisle help easily, pharmacy is overworked, slow and outright rude. Not the CVS I loved 10-15 years ago.

My husband got a refill for his Mounjaro and it's been a week now and it hasn't been filled.. what i don't understand is..WHY HAVEN'T THEY FILLED HIS ORDER?? Called the Dr 2x and they said it's been put through.. still he hasn't gotten a message stating to pick up his prescription.. I think 0 stars should be added.. we are going somewhere else for our prescriptions

CVS has perfected the art of wasting people’s time. Their phone app doesn’t work, their telephone system doesn’t work, and every attempt to get something as simple as a prescription refill turns into a pointless, infuriating slog. Their automated phone tree is a black hole of incompetence—menus that loop, options that don’t work, transfers that go nowhere, and hold times that feel like punishment for daring to need medication. This isn’t a one‑off glitch. This is systemic failure, baked into the way CVS operates. They’ve become the poster child for a company that’s too lazy to fix anything, too cheap to invest in functioning systems, and too indifferent to notice how much business they lose because of it. They’ve turned basic pharmacy tasks into a circus of errors, delays, and dead ends. Every interaction feels like a reminder that CVS is running on autopilot—no accountability, no urgency, no pride in the service they provide. Just a giant corporation coasting on its size while delivering the bare minimum and calling it a day. They’re not just dropping the ball; they’ve lost the ball, blamed the customer, and then closed the department that used to handle balls. If you want a pharmacy that actually works, look elsewhere. CVS has made it painfully clear that customer experience isn’t even on their radar anymore.
