I visit the CVS on Annapolis Rd in Odenton, Md. I went to get a flu shot the pharmacist tell me my insurance doesn’t cover it. I have Blue Shield and Blue Cross I never had a problem before receiving my vaccines and flu shots in the past. The pharmacist was rude and asked me to remove my mask.I did not get my flu shot after having him argue with me that my insurance doesn’t cover it, I told him to cancel it and left.

The pharmacy drive thru is crazy
The pharmacy drive thru is crazy. You can wait in line forever. It seems like they need a better process. It is like this all the time.

I had to use cvs pharmacy because my insurance required me to do so. I've had experienced declining quality of customer care in the pharmacy dept. They claim its due to lack of help. I've had to complain to my doctor because they've withheld medication that was vital to my health & wellbeing. I am in the process of transferring my service to another more competent pharmacy

I am so sick
I am so sick. I made an appointment to the wrong cvs minute clinic. The nurse and doctor were just sitting in the room. I asked if they would see me but they said their lunch was in 20 minutes. Twenty minutes. It’s called minute clinic. Thanks for nothing.

Disrespect and disregard from CVS Pharmacist
I have never experienced such a lack of customer service from a pharmacy. I had outpatient surgery on my mouth last evening, and was racing to get there before they closed at 8pm to pick up my antibiotics. I pulled up at the drive-thru window at 7:58pm - 2 minutes to spare. The window was already closed. So I pulled around and parked, and was literally running through the store when I saw them start to close their screen. It was 1/4 closed when the pharmacist saw me. She looked me dead in the eye and said, "NO we're closed" and continued to close the screen, not even waiting for me to respond. She had zero concern about why I was running back to their counter. Zero. Maybe I just had a question about whether I could take two medicines together. Or maybe I was going to ask her where I could find something in the store. But she didn't care to find out. If I was too late and their registers had already been turned off, then it would have been nice to receive that information instead of having a screen slammed in my face. I was under the impression that a pharmacy literally exists to help people. That pharmacist needs to find a new occupation, because she could not have cared less. I will never fill another prescription there and they have lost a frequent customer.

CVS SimpleDose: Worst Pharmacy
Having used other packet medication pharmacies, and many other general pharmacies, I've found CVS SimpleDose to offer a horrible experience. I switched due to an insurance change and have wasted so many hours that it would have been cheaper just to pay for my meds without insurance.
I started to setup the service in January, 2022, and after dozens of contacts with CVS online and via phone, I finally received my first box of packets four months later. During the process, representatives provided incorrect information, failed to tell me that prescriptions had to go to the specific La Habra address, called multiple times to confirm the same details without any knowledge of the previous calls, and required payment setup multiple times.
Do not try the Transfer Rx to CVS option. I tried that twice and never received any help. After spending the time to enter all my prescriptions, I didn't even receive a response. Nothing. Then when I called, I was told that CVS does not transfer prescriptions--so the option on the website is just misleading information. Instead, I needed to have my docs send new prescriptions to them. Other services transfer them with little trouble. CVS gives you fake options that waste your time.
After learning I would receive packet meds in early May, they called in prescriptions to bridge the gap between my supply at the time and the receipt of new packets. The partial Rx, however, came up days short, requiring me to skip needed medications.
I requested an over-the-counter (OTC) medication and was told I couldn't get that in packets without an Rx. On one Rx, my doc wrote "as needed," so CVS put it in a separate bottle--without asking me. I already had a bottle. Moreover, they charged $11 for a one month's supply, while my one-year supply from Costco runs less than $15.
The pharmacists do not seem to understand that taking a medication "daily" means once per 24-hour period. Instead, unlike any sensible person, they interpret that as "during the daytime," which they translate into morning. They've not only wasted my time but the time of my doctors time, repeatedly, to get meds placed at the right time. For example, even though the best available evidence for one of my meds is to take it in the evening, CVS requires an Rx that specifically says "evening." One of my docs, however, wrote "bedtime" on the Rx, so now I get a packet with 1 med labeled "evening" and another with 1 med labeled "bedtime." How can the one-hour difference between evening, at say 8 pm, and bedtime, 9 pm, matter at all?
It turns out that the evening, bedtime, and other times are all part of the "day," unless you work at CVS. I've had more productive conversations with 3-year-old children. The support people are nice enough, but their hands appear to be tied by incompetent management and seriously dumb rules.
The website is also difficult to navigate. For example, when I go to my account and display my order history, it shows "no orders to display" despite receiving packet meds for five months. Instead of the obvious location, one needs to navigate to Pharmacy, View financial summary, where it does not show orders by month but by Rx.
CVS is a great example of why medical care in the U.S. is so expensive. Setting up SimpleDose wasted dozens of hours of my time, hours of my doctors' time, and hours of their own time to do something that PillPack and other companies can do in minutes and without hassles. If my insurance would accept another, I'd switch in a heartbeat, so I recommend any company other than CVS for packet meds or prescriptions in general.

40 percent off coupons are worthless
Every week, I receive a coupon for 40 percent off an item which is not on sale. However, I had a $5.00 extra bucks which was first subtracted from the purchase price. Then I received 40 percent off the balance.
I think this is a scam. The 40 percent should be taken off the retail price and then Extra bucks applied.
