One star when really zero stars is more appropriate. Cvs pharmacy is terrible. Trying to get a refill of meds only to be told they don’t have it. I requested a partial fill and they “found” 3 bottles. Great. Wait another 30 minutes. Return to pharmacy only to be told they don’t have the supply. No communication between staff. Staff has no desire to help.

Just consistently crappy Seems like no matter which CVS I choose, they are never staffed enough to handle demand, and are out of stock on common medications. And when you try to call, you have long wait times if anyone ever answers at all.

If 0 stars was an option that is what I would have entered. OMG I had to completely lose my crap today. My son went to the dermatologist almost a month ago. After well near two years of fighting with the insurance we were finally approved for Dupixent to treat his eczema. The medication was called into CVS Speciality Pharmacy the same day (I do believe).......by the person in the office that usually handles meds that require prior auths, and are a pain to get paid by the insurance company. We (myself and the doctors office) have gone back and forth with this damn pharmacy for the last 3 weeks getting it approved scheduled, then approved again and rescheduled, and then approved again and rescheduled. Everytime they ran the prescription they ran it with the wording incorrect so the insurance would deny it. CVS not once reached out to ANYONE to let us know when there were issues and get it resolved. We had to continually reach out to them to get it taken care of. The medication was scheduled to be delivered today. Yesterday I chatted with them online to confirm that the prescription was still being delivered today. They then gave me the story about the insurance......I explained the situation to them AGAIN FOR THE 20th time, she then confirmed the scheduled delivery for today. Today I get online to get my tracking info and delivery time and it says DELAYED!!!!! Did CVS reach out to me or the doctors office? Absolutely not. The doctors office literally spent an additional hour on the phone with the CVS and the insurance company to insure that the pharmacy got their crap together and had it straightened out. Did the pharmacy call me after that to schedule the delivery?! Absolutely not. I had to call again and get it scheduled. Your reps are being extra nice after sooooooo many screw ups and overnighting his medication to me. However, I should have had the medication weeks ago. I will say going forward I absolutely will not be using CVS pharmacy ever again unless mine or my family members lives depend on it. This whole process was a joke, absolutely the worst customer service experience ever.

CVS Pharmacy on Davis Street in Scranton, PA. I used to fill all my scripts there but changed to Walmart in Taylor after repeatedly being frustrated with wait times on the phone or in the store to pick up my script. Today my doctor mistakenly sent a script to them to be filled so I figured, I would just roll with it and get it filled by them. I received a text saying the script was ready however they do not provide a cost in the text (Walmart does) so I called them. After waiting on the phone for 26 minutes, I got a live person who told me the script cost $114. I asked if I could give them my Good RX info to bring that cost down to $24.58. She told me she was too busy and that I would have to come with the info and then they would do it. My experience is that I would be standing in line for 10 minutes before I even got to pass the info to a person then I would have to wait for it to be redone. I have called Walmart and had the script transferred there.

CVS in past year has become horrendous, at least our local pharmacy. All new staff and not at all trained, gives wrong answers. If you try to call the pharmacy you get placed on a music hold usually from 40-80 minutes! Has happened 3 times in past 2 weeks (store 1848). New "kids" staff did not even have a clue of how many free Covid tests allowed to medicare recipients! Used to be good, responsive, efficient but in past year a useless pharmcacy.

I came in to a CVS so that my daughter could see the minute clinic. After checking my daughter out for three minutes, she concluded that my daughter did not have a sinus infection. When I argued that she had a fever and a headache for three days and had had a cold for a week and a half prior she totally dismissed me and told me she is not prescribing her antibiotic. My daughter also had a large piece of wax in her right ear, so she could not even see if that right here was infected(which would caused a fever if it was). Even though I made it perfectly clear that my daughter is rarely sick and has been so ill she still refused to treat her even though I told her she was my youngest of five. She then told me to get out that I would have to leave. When I talked about back to her, she started getting loud and asked for security out the door. I will never take my daughter to such a quack establishment again. This was the CVS over and exton

CVS uses foreign manufacturers to improve their margins. One of their vendors have received a "tentative FDA" approval. That tells you enough that they weren't satisfied. On the other hand, they mess up my Rx. Every time, the automated system is awful. This company shouldn't be allowed to buy other healthcare companies. It's a disgrace. I'm transferring to a local pharmacy, never using those people again. Never using their stores even.
