DO NOT buy their STORE BRAND CVS products they are extremely inferior. Everything I buy from CVS brand is junk. Dental floss, etc. I just bought a mouthwash. I can't get the green off my tongue no matter how hard I brush with toothpaste. Call them up, waited on the phone AFTER BEING TRANSFERRED TWENTY minutes . No one came on the line.

Poorly managed Pharmacy
I went to our local CVS pharmacy today (Sunday) to pickup a prescription I gave them on Thursday. I had to call them to see if it was ready. No call from them. They have a drop off lane and a pickup lane. I waited over 20 minutes and when I ask why they said it was a Wuhan Flu test (Covid) and was told I could go to the drop off lane. There was no signs to indicate this and no way to know what was going on until I got to the window. This is a sorry excuse for a well managed Pharmacy!

CVS mailed my meds to wrong address
CVS mailed my meds to an old address, despite verifying the new one (of 4 years) over phone. Told me to call Post Office to resolve. Post Office did nothing, saying someone signed for them. Back to CVS. Manager eventually reorders for me. What should be 1-2 day Pharmacy delivery is now 3 weeks. Luckily I was OK, with only a mild chronic sinitus flare up without meds.
WORSE: Recently, they didn't stock my husband's meds which are critical to take daily. It's an automatic refill which they were processing for 3 days then said they didn't have it, the day his meds ran out. Not only that, the tech didn't seem to care, just said to call around and hung up. We spent an hour calling 16 pharmacies and 1 came through to rush order for next day.
TLDR: CVS could've killed someone by not delivering meds on time

I went there today to get flu shot for…
I went there today to get flu shot for me and my family. We were extremely poorly attended by a woman (inside the room). I chose to take the vaccine outside, at the pharmacy - better! I'm not coming back.

I can't believe I still use cvs
I can't believe I still use cvs. I HATE the "guy" on the answering machine. I can't STAND HIS VOICE, hate that the wait time is over 10 minutes with the same stupid announcement over and over and trying to direct you to the web site all the time without talking to a new person. I'm giving it a 2 because the staff are nice there.

The online vaccine appointment had no benefit
First I would like to say that the people were courteous and professional and did their jobs by the book. My problem is with the vaccine appointment system. I have gotten my flu shot at CVS for several years. Each time they take time to process my insurance info, even though it was the same as the previous year, and I have to fill out forms. This year, with a pandemic, they offer online reservations where you can fill out the forms online and provide insurance data so that you can be in and out in as short a time as possible. I did just that. In minutes I get an automated call that my insurance is not accepted for "F." Remember, same as last year. I call CVS and my insurance. "OK, it's fixed. Just present your card at check-in." I went in at the appointed time, presented my card - five minutes of typing. He returns my card and gives me forms, the same forms I filled out online. There's a guy waiting behind me, he is there longer than he needs to be because of this. Finally the forms are in and I am told to "wait over there." I finally get to sit down for the vaccination, only then is my temperature taken, in the final minute of my stay. Then the face shield, which is not directly to protect me, goes on for a few seconds hile the shot is given. Total time, about 15 minutes, same as always. The online appointment had no effect.

Automated phone service
The pharmacy needs to take into account that there is a high percentage of elderly people that use the automated phone service.
My mother is in her 80's. When she calls the pharmacy, she wants to speak directly to a person in the pharmacy. Your automated system has way too many options that you have to go through before you can talk to a pharmacist. It's great to have an option available detailing the services that you offer; however, there is a percentage of the population that is not interested in hearing about those services. A 30 second phone call should not take 5 minutes just to get through all of "the junk" you have to go through just to speak to a real person.
Think about how your impacting the elderly population, which I am sure is a larger portion of your customer base, when you think about how to make your automated service more convenient for all concerned.

STOP CALLING ME!
I would HAPPILY give CVS 5☆ if they would fix the automated refills & incessant phone calls for refills CLUSTERFUK! Opt out of auto refill on PRN meds, they're refilled anyway & 3 calls a day for 5 days results. If you're not auto refilled, you get same calls REMINDING you. I am SO SICK of CVS AUTO REFILL CALLS! PLEASE STOP!!!!!
