I’ve struggled with cystic acne and breakouts my entire life. I feel like I’ve tried every product on the market, and curology was the only thing that has actually healed my skin. Not only is the product amazing, but the company itself is so responsive and eager to help you live your best makeup free life. Having a reminder to document your skin progress is awesome. I honestly didn’t notice how much my skin had changed until I looked back on the first picture I sent to my provider. Obviously one product will not work for everyone, I even had to change my custom formula around until it felt right for my skin! Luckily they make it so easy to communicate with your provider and it was changed in time for my next shipment. Invest in your skin people!!! You only get one body, take care of it! I’m sold on this product and this company, it’s changed my skin for the better and gave me my confidence back.

I am now 3 1/2 months into my Curology journey. So far I am very happy with the results! I have not “struggled” with acne like some, but I do have my skin insecurities. Who doesn’t?! When I sent my before pictures into my Curology provider on Dec 8th, I wanted to address the following: occasional cystic/hormonal acne, fine lines, closed comedones & some pigmentation from over exposure to the sun throughout my life. Let me say that using any retinoid or skincare treatment is a marathon, not a sprint. It takes time & consistency. You have to make healthy skin a priority & a habit! Even then, you’re still going to have bad skin days & weeks. No ones skin is perfect & the percentage of filtered pictures on here is HIGH! So don’t compare your journey or your pictures with anyone else. You do you, Boo! All that being said, my skin has come a long way. I have significantly reduced the number of closed comedones on my forehead & really improved the all around texture of my skin. I have not had one single cystic spot pop-up since starting this! That’s incredible!!!! I used to get at least one a month. You are in constant contact with your provider through the secure Curology app. So if you are experiencing any issues or have any issues, you just login and as your provider. You can even submit pictures. I handled my first formula so well, we adjusted my RX before the next shipment. I LOOVE my RX! It’s the highlight & constant in my PM routine! I highly recommend giving Curology a chance!

I have been struggling with acne for YEARS. I turned 21 and it was like oh hello adult acne. I am 30 now and have been using curology for a few months. This stuff is amazing!!! My first formula wasn't quite right and they make it so easy to talk to your provider and adjust your formula.

I can’t say enough good things about this brand. I’ve never had terrible skin, I was having dark spots and redness. After 6 months of curology, it’s all I ever need for my skin.

I've tried everything for my acne, and this is the first thing to work without side effects. Over the years, I've tried a number of topical medications both prescribed and over-the-counter, plus hormonal birth control and an oral antibiotic. The only thing that ever worked was the antibiotic, but it also turned my skin blue and my gums gray, so I stopped taking it. My Curology formula plus the spearmint tea recommended by my Curologist have made my skin look SO much better. I can take off my mask without feeling embarrassed by it, finally! It did take about two and a half months to see significant differences, so don't get discouraged if it takes a bit of time.

Now before I start I want to let everyone know this is my experience on my skin I won't give you any guarantee that this is what happens to every skin. When I purchased my three bottles of curology I was ecstatic because maybe-just maybe I could finally get rid of acne and my really hideous breakouts. However that was never the case, before my products arrived I started to do research and tried to find out the most effective way to use the products. When they arrived I started using them right away and made a great routine. However the second day I used it I noticed irritation on my skin nevertheless I still continued. After a couple days, when I used the formula that was made specifically for my skin, I had really bad burns, my face felt like it was on fire. After going on their website they said that "the burn means that it's working!" If any product that burns your skin stop using it! After using it for like 4 weeks, I had the worse breakouts, my face was really irritated, I couldn't use my regular cleanser or even moisturizer let alone any makeup. My face's was horrible, and I realised that even if a specific product is very expensive or had a lot of great review there is not guarantee. I forced myself to believe that the painful burn was supposed to happen and would only result in a clear face. Hope this review helps, I don't want people to go through what I did:)

I recently started feeling burning when I was putting on the moisturizer, and realize that there is an ingredient only in the moisturizer that will increase acne and harm sensitive skin (like mine) the ingredient is phenoxyethanol which is a preservative in cosmetics. I’m pretty upset that a program designed to help people with skin problems would use that. I don’t want to use these products anymore as it’s making my acne worse and burns when I use the moisturizer. But when you sign up for the free sample, you get locked into spending 80 dollars every couple months! Do NOT buy this product if you have sensitive skin! Edit: to Curology’s reply, they actually were very quick to end my subscription I will say that. I just sent them an email letting them know I’d like to end my subscription, and they did so immediately without hassle. I was upset though that I couldn’t just do it online, no button or links via website, and I felt stuck in a program simply because in my opinion their site wasn’t very user friendly, so I had to reach out via email. Second, the ingredient being deemed safe wasn’t part of the question at all. There are many many ingredients deemed safe by whomever organization yada yada. But the facts remain, that people with very sensitive skin will still react after continued use, to the smallest amounts of even possibly irritating ingredients. It is what it is. So people like us need to know to avoid them, and yes, that ingredient is in absolutely everything, it was very hard for me to find a product line that doesn’t have them, but trust me guys, they do exist! And they don’t have to be expensive! Third, I have dealt with acne and dermatologists since I was 14, that is a very long time. I am very familiar with the time needed to get used to products. I know that things can “get worse before they get better”, I’ve been at this battle for a long time, and so has my mother. I know my stuff so to say lol Listen, if it hurts when you do that, DONT DO THAT I think that this product could work for certain people, but for people like me, and maybe people like you, who have tried everything and are desperate.. you see Curology across your phone screen and you think it’s a godsend, but it’s just another basic skin care product. They have made an easy to use program in the modern world for people if it is something that works for them. But if you’ve tried a dermatologist, if you’ve tried everything, this isn’t going to help. Anyone who has ONLY used over the counter stuff, I’d say give curology a shot, it’s a 5$ trial and they will end it at any time.

Honestly this product has changed my life! Every since I started using curology it has made me more confident with my skin and being with a bare non-makeup face. I have recorded it to friend that have also said this product has changed their life as well! Thank you curology!
