I absolutely love this product, my hair has been so great since I started using it. However I’m struggling with the containers, the pumps do not deliver enough product and you have to keep pumping them which is difficult as they are not easy to reset each time. The bottles that you have to squeeze are too hard to squeeze and it really difficult to get out what I need. I have started storing my bottles on their caps, upside down. Please review your containers and do better, they you would truly be worth 5 stars.

I was looking forward to using the curlsmith products I had purchased after reading the predominately favourable reviews, but have been somewhat disappointed. They are expensive and offer nothing better than cheaper products in curl definition. In particular they don't hold the curl for more than one day, leaving hair 'straggly' on day 2 necessitating in hair to be washed daily.

Not a past reviewer to be honest but after bleaching my very thick naturally curly hair to near the end of its life, I dyed it back to brown and have started the back to curly journey, again. I scoured the internet for decent products as my hair was very dry, brittle, porous, you name it so I found Curlsmith. Done the test, treated myself to the oil on conditioner and soufflé and it’s crap. Maybe it’s just the current state of my hair, I’ve always used mousse in the past but wanted to try something that wouldn’t dry it out as much. I think either the leave in conditioner or styling product is maybe too heavy for my hair? As it doesn’t dry with even a single curls, just waves which seem to vanish the first night I sleep on em. So, still scouring, searching for good products to use on me hair. Wish me luck.

I have been using Curlsmith for a few weeks now, and can't say I love it. The co-wash is ok, does the job both as a shampoo and a conditioner. However the curl conditioning oil-in-cream and the hold-me-softly style balm (curling cream) I found were too thick and oily. My hear is already very thick and heavy and this weighed them down even more. I find my curls actually better defined and lighter without these 2 products. As for the gel, with the fancy name soufflé, is HORRIBLE. The consistency is like gelly, not gel. There is no way to apply this to your hair without leaving bits of gelly all over. All in all, it's a mixed review from me. Perhaps this product works better for afro hair or for thin, light curly hair, but I will switch to a different product personally.
