I got an offer for a job where I was unqualified, and rejected from 2 jobs where I was overqualified. I'm an AP Comp Sci teacher, so I thought I would take their tests. I nearly aced their intelligence test, but bombed the coding challenge (2 stars out of 5). Nevertheless, I received an offer for a high-end tech job. I emailed them to explain that I wasn't qualified for that job, and they encouraged me to apply for other jobs. I applied to 2 different education-tech jobs. On the first, I got rejected after only getting 4 out of 5 stars on the final challenge. On the second job application, where I was very overqualified (and would have turned it down if offered), I was rejected right from the start, despite acing the challenge. Bottom line: the executives were polite and professional, but their AI-powered hiring system doesn't seem to work.

Don't accidentally click the wrong answer. If you do you have to wait half a year to redo it. They claim to find the top 1% but I doubt they have that. It's very disappointing and doesn't allow you to try other jobs. The companies are the ones who may miss out. It is also a fault of my own that I clicked the wrong option. Not allowing to change or fix it isn't a growth mindset company. In the end, they miss out

I have read many of the negative responses. Understand this, that the so-called "cognitive assessment" is really an IQ test. They cannot call it that for obvious reasons. So no surprise it bears no relationship to what you will do on the job. No IQ test does. I got to the cognitive assessment part, and wanted to do some research on Crossover before I wasted my time. I am highly intelligent, but tend to do badly with timed Whiz Kid tests. 18 seconds per question? I hate that!!!! A real IQ test takes 2 or 3 hours to do. While the outcome of their "cognitive assessment" may correlate to your actual intelligence, many would say it is not a proper test. I think I will try to take that test anyway, just to see how I do. But one of my impediments for tests like that is that I like to spend time on each question, particularly if the question is interesting. Nope. Do that any you will go down in flames. For once I would like to see an intelligence test that is not so damned time critical. One spoke of an unexpected Chrome update during the testing, which disqualified him. I use Firefox on Linux, and I never get those annoying prompts. Still, another running application might kick up a prompt and steal the focus. Overall, I get negative "vibes" for Crossover, and will not rely on it for my main income, even if I do scale all the hoops and run the gauntlets. It does have a "too good to be true" odor to it.

Not having heard before about Crossover I just went into the application process for a VP marketing role completely blank. Sure enough I passed the basic fit, CATT and English language test. But then thing did start to become weird. I had to do a so-called "real work" test. For this I had to write some marketing copy. There were some criteria which you are told about in advance , so I made sure I did hit all of them in my content piece. After I submitted it, I had to wait for over a week to get a message that I only had gotten 1 out of the 3 stars required and my application was rejected for that reason. However, when I checked the document history I could see nobody had looked at it. I just got a bad rating out of nowhere. This feels quite scammy and looking back I guess it all has been a waste of time.

You'll get rejected immediately in the basic screening if you didn't go to a top 20 school. It doesn't matter if you meet every other qualification for the position.

Prices are through the roof can live with that and dev we got is from Ukraine, so there was a good 10 hour gap in communication.
