We love the playset. Ordered it spring 2020 and it was worth the wait. The website was helpful and the salesperson was SO friendly and helpful on the phone. The installation crew was very short tempered/ unfriendly, however. We had questions about best location/ position for the playset that they were unable/ unwilling to answer. They were also very curt with my children, who all started crying after they were scolded and shooed away when they tried to offer water bottles to the team. It was a bit of a let down after the months of built up excitement, but once the team completed the installation and left the boys were thrilled with their new set.

My entire experience from purchasing to install was wonderful. I have nothing but positive feedback. I gave 4 stars due to the wood not being treated. I was told it was treated and would not need to be treated again for 2 years. Well, I have carpenter bee's digging holes in the brand new wood. All over the wooden roof we paid extra to add. After having them taken care of, I was told the wood was not treat, and would need to be treated to prevent the same issue. Not happy I have to figure this out now.

Creative Playthings generally did a good job. Unfortunately there was a very long delay from the time the swing set was ordered until the time it was installed. The people at Creative Playthings were very cordial and helpful and professional. The swing set installer was excellent.

We ordered a trampoline to keep the kids occupied outside during COVID. The owner was very friendly and honest and explained that there was only one brand left (Berg) and they wouldn't be able to install it for two month due to the virus. We were not charged until the trampoline was delivered and the set up was done seamlessly. We've had the trampoline 2 months and my two kids use it every day. One of the buckles on the safety netting has already broken which is a shame, but hopefully I can order a part at some point and get it repaired. I would recommend Creative Playthings to anyone looking to purchase backyard fun for their kids.

Overall the sales service and product was great. The sales person was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. However, it's been weeks since the swing-set was installed and we still haven't received the picnic table that's supposed to come with the set (it's supposedly on back order). The installers were very nice but their cigarette butts and wrappers were littered across my lawn, which was upsetting to see.

Given all that is going on in the world and that I decided to order a swingset RIGHT as the state was being locked down, the experience with Creative Playthings in Acton was wonderful! I could not go into the storeroom since it was closed so I had to do everything over the phone, and Rich the store manager couldn't have been more helpful or responsive - he put me at ease and answered all of my questions. Of course on install day it POURED which wasn't ideal, but the installers were friendly and thorough. My only minor gripe, which is why I'm giving this 4 stars, is that the installers left the (open) cardboard box containing our extra swing up by the swingset (which in our large yard really isn't that close to the house) IN THE POURING RAIN - which had we not noticed it, would have probably sat there overnight. Not a huge deal, just was very odd given they called before they left and I even mentioned to them that I thought they may have left a box behind and the guy said it was the extra swing -- so we had to go up and bring it in from the pouring rain. Just seemed like it would have been more thoughtful of them to leave the box closer to the house - like on the porch, patio or by front door - or to mention/ask us where they should leave it. I know I know, petty and weird but it's the little things that really make a difference. Overall I would whole-heartedly recommend this company to anyone looking for a quality swingset for their little one!!

Very nice set and kids love it.

Installation was quick and easy, installer was friendly, and customer service over the phone was very helpful. I would say just explaining the steps in the process a bit better in the initial conversation would probably be helpful to new customers. I kind of felt left the in the dark from time between order and install. Great experience overall and the kids love it!
