Great experience dealing with the Holliston store. They answered all my questions, got me prices, etc. We had many e-mails back and forth. However, picking up the slide in Millis was quite an adventure. The signage is awful and you cannot pull up close to the door.

Installation was perfect and just as planned

The swing set itself is fantastic, unfortunately the installation did not go very smoothly and we are in the process of getting some new pieces of wood and having CPT come back out to fix. They have been very good about customer service with our issues. Make sure that you check out the set thoroughly after installation since there's a 30 day window for issues. I'm hoping once everything is fixed we have a long run with the set itself.

Great set and great service The play set is on the pricier side, but I cannot say enough of the installers and customer service. It was a seamless process and I would certainly recommend Creative Playthings of Scarsdale.

Love the play set—it is solid and we feel a great value. The experience at the store was wonderful. There was no hard sell or upsell and it was generally a pleasant experience. Had to have yard leveled and were told to clear more than needed. We added additional play structure and were told to clear the size of the next biggest package— so if you have to clear or prep your yard do your own diagram if you’re adding on to the standard pack as it’ll vary greatly depending on configuration. Installers were supposed to arrive between 9-12 and did not arrive til 3pm after numerous calls to the store. Install is beautiful. Originally purchased the borders and mulch, after landscaping was complete we decided to return borders instead of installing—that was kind of a production but worked out. Overall, we are thrilled with the product.

The order was easy, although the time from order to shipping was longer than I am accustomed (I guess I'm spoiled by Amazon Prime). the product was quality and did the job well.

So, bottom line, the swing set is great, and in the end we got everything we needed. It was a long road getting there though. Briefly: 1. Despite my frequent communication with Creative Playthings about scheduling installation (we needed a specific time as we were arranging this as a surprise for our kids), and confirmation of our preferred install date/time, our installation window was moved at the last minute. 2. They just never showed up to our rescheduled installation time. 3. After much consternation, when they did eventually show up a couple of days later, they didn't have the right pieces to install the glider swing, they didn't break down our old set small enough to be placed by the curb, and they just left it in large pieces on the side of my house. One associate, Anthony, was absolutely crucial in helping us resolve all of these issues. He was consistently patient, kind, and tried absolutely everything he could to make sure everything was addressed to our satisfaction. He absolutely went above and beyond, and for the most part really mitigated our initial negative experience.

Installation went well. I was not keep up to date on the status of my order. I never received a phone call or email to confirm that my order was received . When I call customer services they did not the status either told me to contact my credit card company to see if it had been charged. My daughter who I bought the swing set for got a call setting up a date for installation. I did get a call a few days before the installation giving us an estimate time of arrrival. This call came a few weeks after I placed the order. I think communication is lacking a this company. The installers arrived early and finished the job and my grandchildren are delighted.
