Brighton MIchigan, Cracker Barrel, I read the menu and picked the spicy grilled catfish, menu said in plain English, comes with tartar sauce for dipping, great, I love tartar sauce with fish. There was none on my plate, I told the waitress it was missing, she said "it does not come with it but I can get you some" I said the menu says it comes with it, she said menu does not say that. She can't read the menu, because it says that always, also she seemed shocked that I wanted hash brown casserole for both of my sides, so what I love the hash brown casserole.

Special Occasion? Don't go to Cracker Barrel
Do not go to Cracker Barrel on Mother's Day or Father's Day if you have more than 4 people! They have very limited seating for any group 5 or more. They will not deviate & put tables together for your group when your name comes up. Instead you have to wait until the large group ahead of you vacates the table. We were told at 12:04 that it would be a 1.5 hour wait. It was much longer than 2 hours. We ordered & from finally got our food at 3:11. Cracker Barrel needs to get a better system in place.
The food was good, but the wait was ridiculous. Would have rather been told up front about limitations on group of seating.

My family met at the Cracker Barrel on…
My family met at the Cracker Barrel on Chaffee road in Jacksonville, Fl. Today as it is half way for a our family to meet for breakfast. We arrived at 8:30am. Had to wait 45min on a table, then another 1:15 for food after we where seated. The kitchen was serving the door dash customers first. Cracker Barrel has a customer service problem that will soon eat there lunch. I’m done with Cracker Barrel.

I ate at cracker barrel years ago and…
I ate at cracker barrel years ago and the meal was very tasty. Unfortunately my family ate at a cracker barrel on vacation in dandbridge Tennessee and we were terribly disappointed. We waited an hour and 1/2 to get seated and they made our family split up into different tables. The fried chicken was very overcooked and such a let down. I can't remember what others had but we left there vowing never to go back.

Terrible Call In Order Service
I live 5 minutes for the Cracker Barrel located off N I-35 in Edmond Oklahoma. I’ve lived in the area for 4 1/2 years. During this time frame I a regular customer. However, in the last year, this Cracker Barrel has proven more than 6 different times, they can’t either fill or deliver a call in order timely. Today, was the sixth time I called in a Chicken Salad, the person on the phone said give them 15 minutes for it to ready, I arrive a few minutes after the 15 minutes, cashier asked me pay, calls the kitchen, I wait another 10 minutes, at which point I ask for a refund, am told the manager has to approve, the manger shows up, goes to the kitchen and 10 minutes later the salad arrives. A salad!!!! Ridiculous. I’v given this Cracker Barrel more than enough opportunities to redeem there ineffective service. FYI: don’t pay in advance for a call in orders. Pay if your order arrives in a proper timeframe. Otherwise, leave....

If it was possible to rate "0" I…
If it was possible to rate "0" I would've have. Their food quality and customer service have diminished over the years. I have frequented their restaurants in many cities throughout Dallas Ft. Worth; Arkansas, Texarkana plus others. They refuse to offer any kind of discount, including Sr. & Military. They seem to take pride in telling customers "We don't offer or give ANY KIND of discounts. For that reason, I stay away from them now. I also encourage others to do so. There have been times my family has eaten at some cracker barrel some where daily. Not anymore.

Incompetence abounds
I like Cracker Barrel a lot. I have been going, with few exceptions (such as while stationed overseas), at least once a month for over 30 years. The service at the Lowrance Rd location is by far the WORST I have ever had at a restaurant. I have patroned them over a dozen times. Numerous times I have ordered food To Go only to receive an incorrect order (whether through lacking items or receiving incorrect items). The other day, I placed an online order at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 am pickup. I arrived, on time, to pick up my food and am told, "It's not ready. It will be out in just a minute." I receive a paper copy of my receipt at this time. 5 minutes pass and no food. I inquire, politely, again. Same response. 10:15 rolls around and I am getting impatient. They were given a 30 min lead, why isn't my food ready? They aren't even at half capacity! I inquire again, politely, and receive the same response. 10:20 am comes and I, politely, speak to the manager at the Host/Hostess Podium, who effectively gives me the same rote response. 10:30 - same response. 10:40- same response. FYI, I am not the only person waiting in the lobby on my To Go Order. 10:45 comes and when I get the same response, I walk to the back and follow three waiters to their table where I ask the patrons seated if any of them arrived after 10 am. Everyone at all three tables say, "Yes". Side note: At this point I have not raised my voice once during this occasion. Finally, I walk to the Host/ Hostess podium and tell the manager, in a scathing tone, I need my food or I need my money now. The manager says, "Everything is going to be seen to, but we are going to do it right." That seems nonsensical, and I have no clue what he is trying to say. He's the manager, so he can refund me, right? He repeats the nonsense and then attempts to go around me to seat/ take the name of some new arrivals. I step back into his path and say, "I do not need useless platitudes, and I will not be sidetracked. I need my food or my money, now." His response, "We don't need any yelling in here." Before this point I have not raised my voice. At this point I raise my voice. I make a fuss. I am just short of beginning to curse when he mentions police. That's when the F-Bombs start coming out. Not my proudest moment. That said, I hate it when inconsiderate people waste my time. Someone comes out from the kitchen with a cart loaded with To Go packages. I stop her and read the labels, cursing the whole time, until I find the one with my name on it. I snatch it up and turn to leave when the manager tries to tell me I can't take that. I laugh, and curse some more about his complete incompetence. I haven't "raised my voice" in a restaurant in decades, and I have certainly never cursed like that before. I am definitely done with the Cracker Barrel on Lowrance. DO NOT EAT THERE!
