When trying to order online for a Door Dash delivery, I was furious to learn that it is IMPOSSIBLE to order pancakes (or any breakfast meal) without ordering a meat. I am a vegetarian and I refuse to order meat just to get pancakes regardless of how much I want pancakes. Finally, my husband asked me to go ahead and order meat because he would like bacon with his meal, so I did. Well, I will never do that again. First of all, I don’t care how much my husband wants meat, he will not get it through my order. And secondly, the pancakes were absolutely terrible. They tasted like eating paint off the wall. Cracker Barrel was once a wonderful place. Danny Evins would be devastated to know what the Cracker Barrel corporation has made of his brain child. Here is a note to Cracker Barrel: it is 2021. There are millions of vegetarians, and I am sure, like me, a large percentage of them will never order from Cracker Barrel again. It offends me that you leave me no choice but to order a meat with my meal. How dare you. Who do you think you are? I will never order from Cracker Barrel again. Lesson learned. You will never offend me again.

Went this morning to enjoy a good meal with friends,big mistake.waited thirty five minutes,they were busy so we understood,once we got a waiter he rushed us to order,food finally came wasn't what i ordered but didn't want to make a scene so i kept it,food was COLD,hanging off the bowls and plate.used to be good prices have gone up but the quality so down,way DOWN!! can't say that i'll go back

We love Cracker Barrel, but this morning’s experience was not up to par. We ate at East Windsor in Massachusetts and realized that the portions were much smaller. My Pancakes, which are always plentiful and a good size were very small And left me wanting for more. I was still hungry and usually cannot finish them. I was not about to spend another $9 for a second order, but I WAS that hungry. Very disappointing!

My daughter and I thought a nice breakfast on Saturday morning was a good idea until we landed at the location in Rock Hill, SC. We were first of all put on a 10-15 minute waiting list for 2 when they had tables available and groups for 4-5 were coming in after we put our name down and they were seated immediately. Once our name was called we were seated beside one couple that had already been there eating and 2 open tables with no one seated beside us and in front of us. We sat there for 10 mins without one person (waitress) talking to us and kept walking by us. I finally said something to one of them that walked by and she stated "someone will be right with you", at that moment two ladies where seated right in front of us at the open table. 30 seconds later a waitress walked right by us and stopped and took their drink order! WOW! I immediately got "pissed off"! I looked at my daughter and told her, "we are not eating here! They will not even recognize we have been sitting here for 11 minutes now at that time. Let's go somewhere else". We got and left and as we were walking out the floor manager I guess stated " have a good day and hope you enjoyed your meal". What a JOKE!! I will not ever return to this Cracker Barrel in Rock Hill, SC

I live very close to this Cracker Barrel and used to go there quite a bit years ago. Recently though, 2 of the last 3 times I have gone there I ordered take out. Both times, the person who was SUPPOSED to let me know that the order was ready, never did. They just brought the order up front without notifying me, while I waited in the store walking around. I went up to inquire when the order was supposed to be ready, and to my surprise the hostess said that it was brought out already! So I am walking around the store for 15 minutes waiting for my order when it was already sitting there getting cold! Also, in my last order (and last time that I will go there) I had ordered the roast beef. What a mistake! Besides being cold, it was a paltry quantity of very tough meat! I got home and even complained to Customer Service about it, but they didn't seem to be very concerned. I won't ever go there again.

What restaurant runs out of straws and napkins????? Waitress Janet couldn't get anyone's order correct. We sent back twice just to have the same food reappear. Food was cold, and country fried steak was dry and hard. Some of us were missing food and kept having to ask. Asked three times for jam for the biscuits and finally got it when we were finished. We ordered a dinner for take out, but no surprise she brought it out on a plate. We then sat for 15 minutes waiting for checks, and had to walk back to the kitchen just to find someone to help. This was the THIRD bad experience at this particular Cracker Barrel, and will truly be our LAST visit.

For a long time, it was a real pleasure to eat at Cracker Barrel and enjoy the Gift Shop. The last two visits, the quality of the food has deteriorated substantially. You have the market. Let's do better on food quality!

I don't know what happened to cracker barrel but I will never go again the menu change and not for the good food very greasy and dirt good bye cracker barrel
